This is the beginning of an interesting change led by those who took the initiative with expressions and performances born from confidence, and music that holds certainty in their identity. There is no hesitation in expressing themselves. IVE's graph is being drawn more clearly.

Becoming a syndrome just by their existence, IVE's first mini-album flexibly crosses between their unique color and unconventional transformation. The new image presented by IVE is impressive in that it allows listeners to fully feel a theme beyond just music. While the message of self-assurance remains the same, the attempt at diversity that defies all expectations will satisfy more than everyone's anticipation.

Triple Title Tracks – IVE's Infinite Variations

Through this album, IVE delivers colorful images of 'oneself' viewed from various perspectives. They convey an infinitely expanded message through three title tracks expressing: me seen from the eyes of others ('Either Way'), me discovered by each other ('Off The Record'), and another me discovered by myself ('BADDIE'). The ways of expression are also diverse. They stimulate curiosity from a girl's perspective or touch upon detailed emotions to draw empathy. The concepts of the three title tracks unfold according to the mood and style of each song, arousing interest by showcasing different styles and moods.

The pre-released title track 'Either Way' sings about a 'me' who is not free from the gaze of others. Starting with a dreamy synth, it creates a lyrical atmosphere that blends with the members' emotional vocals to evoke empathy. Singer-songwriter Sunwoo Jung-a wrote the lyrics, depicting our lives in an ironic modern society with the message, 'Let's find our true selves amidst the misunderstandings born from the gazes of countless others.'

Another pre-released title track, 'Off The Record', expresses IVE's way of love more familiarly. Seo Ji-eum, who has been with IVE since their beginning, participated in writing the lyrics, depicting the story of girls curious about love deep in the night when no one is asleep. The charming 'Off The Record', where the members' colorful voices blend over a rhythmic beat, paints IVE's secret late-night conversation with vivid emotions, as if recalling a scene from a musical film. It conveys the fun of listening and watching by expressing the curiosity and cheeky imagination that can only be felt in that moment before becoming an adult.

The final title track, 'BADDIE', overturns everyone's expectations. It is a dark-charming song presented by a bold IVE with a cool vibe, offering a completely 'different me' while still delivering the message of 'self-assurance' that acts as IVE's identity. BIG Naughty participated in writing the lyrics. The intense trap beat and unique electric bass sound are impressive, overwhelming the atmosphere with a simple yet full sound. The addictive hook and the members' powerful rap are enough to feel a completely new charm of IVE that has never been seen before.

The first mini-album unfolds an unpredictable image of infinite expansion while keeping the unique color IVE has shown so far. The piercing message remains the same. It is a story about 'me' whose natural charm is revealed even without trying to hide it, speaking directly about my emotions. With confident expressions and a style that hits everyone's taste, the syndrome of the ever-stylish IVE is still ongoing.
