IVE to Perform at INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO on September 23
IVE will take part in another major live event in Japan this September.
The group has been confirmed for the second day of INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO, which will take place at Belluna Dome in Saitama on September 23, 2026.
Doors are scheduled to open at 4:00 p.m. JST, with the show beginning at 6:00 p.m. JST. The full event will run for two days, from September 22 to September 23.
What Is INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO?
INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO is a large-scale concert event built around the identity of SBS's long-running Korean music programme Inkigayo.
First launched in 1991, Inkigayo has become one of South Korea's best-known weekly music shows. Popular artists perform their latest songs on the programme, while one act is selected as the weekly No. 1 winner.
The Japanese live event brings together performers from both the Korean and Japanese music industries. Its official website promises special stages that can only be experienced in Japan, although the exact collaborations and performances have not yet been revealed.
The official September 23 lineup graphic places IVE alongside major Japanese artists including Ado and BE:FIRST. Across the two-day event, the wider announced lineup also includes TOMORROW X TOGETHER, RIIZE, &TEAM, NiziU, INI, KickFlip, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii and several other acts.
IVE's Special Connection to Inkigayo
The Inkigayo name has a particularly meaningful connection to IVE because two members of the group previously served as regular MCs of the programme.
An Yujin hosted Inkigayo from March 2021 to March 2022, before IVE's debut and during the early months of the group's career. Several years later, Leeseo became a regular MC in April 2024 and remained in the role until December 2025, completing approximately one year and seven months as a host.
IVE have also built an impressive competitive history on the programme. Songs including "ELEVEN," "LOVE DIVE," "I AM," "Baddie" and "REBEL HEART" achieved Inkigayo Triple Crowns after winning first place three times.
Their appearance at INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO can therefore feel like a return to a familiar stage rather than simply another festival performance.
Tokyo in Name, but Saitama in Reality
Despite the event's title, Belluna Dome is not located within Tokyo. The venue stands in Tokorozawa, a city in neighbouring Saitama Prefecture.
Belluna Dome is the home stadium of the professional baseball team Saitama Seibu Lions. Its officially listed capacity is 31,552 spectators, although the final number available for concerts can change depending on the stage and floor layout.
The stadium has hosted baseball games, concerts and other major events for decades. Its ceiling rises approximately 64.6 metres above the playing surface, while its enormous main screen, known as L Vision, measures 46.08 metres wide and 13.06 metres high. The screen covers more than 600 square metres.
A Dome That Is Not Completely Indoors
Belluna Dome has one of the most unusual designs among major Japanese venues. A roof covers the field and seating areas, but the stadium is not completely sealed by exterior walls behind the stands.
Natural air can therefore flow into the venue, creating an atmosphere somewhere between an outdoor stadium and a fully enclosed arena. Fans attending the event should keep this distinctive design in mind when preparing for the late-September show.
How Far Is Belluna Dome from Tokyo?
According to the venue's official access guide, the journey takes approximately 35 minutes from Ikebukuro Station using the Seibu Ikebukuro Line.
Travelling from Tokyo Station takes approximately 52 minutes via Ikebukuro, while the journey from Shibuya takes around 56 minutes. The venue recommends using public transportation during large concerts and sporting events.
IVE Will Perform During Japan's Rare Silver Week
September 23 is not an ordinary Wednesday in Japan. The date is Autumnal Equinox Day, an official national holiday traditionally connected with honouring ancestors and remembering those who have passed away.
September 22 is also a public holiday in 2026 because it falls between Respect for the Aged Day on September 21 and Autumnal Equinox Day on September 23. Under Japanese law, a weekday positioned between two national holidays also becomes a day off.
Together with the preceding weekend, this creates a rare five-day holiday period from September 19 to September 23. This unusual autumn break is commonly known as Silver Week.
IVE's performance will therefore take place on the final day of one of Japan's longest holiday periods of the year. The timing may make it easier for domestic fans to travel, but it could also increase demand for transportation and accommodation around the Tokyo and Saitama area.
Ticket Information
A reserved single-day ticket is priced at 18,000 yen, while a reserved two-day ticket covering both September 22 and September 23 costs 33,000 yen.
VIP upgrades are also planned. The single-day VIP upgrade costs an additional 12,000 yen, while the two-day VIP upgrade costs an additional 24,000 yen. The announced VIP benefit is access to a seat in the front section of the arena.
Fans purchasing a two-day ticket will receive a different seat for each day. A standard reserved ticket must also be purchased before a VIP upgrade can be added.
The first official lottery application period for two-day tickets ran from June 26 to July 12. Additional ticket and VIP upgrade information is expected to be announced through the event's official website.
DIVE Insight: What Could the Japan-Only Special Stage Be?
The organisers have specifically advertised special stages that can only be experienced in Japan. With major Korean and Japanese artists sharing the same event, that wording naturally raises the possibility of cross-artist collaborations, rearranged performances or Japanese-language stages.
IVE also have an extensive Japanese catalogue that could fit such an occasion. However, no special collaboration, song selection or individual member stage has been officially confirmed at this time.
The event has also not yet announced its detailed timetable, MC lineup, broadcast plans or possible online streaming options. Those details will likely become clearer as the September dates approach.
With more than 30,000 possible spectators, a rare Japanese holiday date and the promise of exclusive stages, INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO is shaping up to be another important appearance for IVE and Japanese DIVE in 2026.
