IVE’s Rei Named Global Ambassador for AGE20’S

IVE's Rei for Korean beauty brand AGE20'S

Update · October 16: AGE20’S has detailed a large-scale outdoor advertising campaign starring Rei across Seoul, bringing the IVE member’s ambassador visuals to major shopping districts and public transport.

AGE20’S outdoor advertising campaign featuring Rei in Seoul
AGE20’S is rolling out Rei-led outdoor advertising across Seoul. Photo: Aekyung Industrial, via Maeil Ilbo.

The campaign promotes the Skin First Hidden Prep Foundation Pact and AGE20’S wider “Skin First Makeup” identity. According to Aekyung Industrial, the ads are appearing on buses and subway media as well as in high-traffic areas including Gangnam, Hongdae and Itaewon, with placements planned around the everyday routes of the brand’s younger target audience.

The October rollout is a new phase of Rei’s existing partnership rather than a new ambassador deal. AGE20’S first named her its global ambassador on August 19 and had already signalled plans for large-scale outdoor advertising later in the year. The new announcement confirms the campaign’s current scope and the product now at the centre of the push.

Maeil Ilbo · October 16 campaign report

Original report · August 19: IVE’s Rei was officially selected as the newest muse and global ambassador for Korean beauty brand AGE20’S.

AGE20’S, operated by Aekyung Industrial, introduced Rei as the new face of the brand on August 19. The company highlighted her trendy image, strong global fandom and influence among younger consumers as key reasons behind the appointment.

Rei represents AGE20’S as it develops its global identity around the concept “Skin-First Makeup”. The brand describes this approach as combining the performance of makeup with skincare benefits rather than treating the two categories separately.

One of the first campaign images showed Rei holding the AGE20’S Sleek Glaze Blush Stick, a stick blush launched in June 2026. The product was developed in collaboration with beauty creator Sunny’s Channel and is available in Watermelon Pink, Rose Latte Brown and Mauve Raspberry.

The appointment also deepened Rei’s relationship with Aekyung Industrial. In February 2025, she became the ambassador for LUNA, another makeup brand operated by the same company. Rei is now representing two of Aekyung Industrial’s main beauty brands.

AGE20’S is best known for its Signature Essence Pact, whose cumulative sales surpassed 240 million units by March 2026. The brand has also been expanding internationally. In May, AGE20’S entered the first Olive Young store in the United States with 53 products, including 20 shades of its Signature Essence Pact developed for the local market.

Yujin Links Her Marvel Marathon to IVE’s Comeback With a “Hero” Joke

Yujin's Bubble update, with the message text and shared photograph blurred

Yujin has connected her recent Marvel movie marathon to IVE’s comeback with a playful “hero” remark. Her latest Bubble update also brought a personal milestone: she had finally watched Avengers: Endgame.

“Now you know why I’ve been watching Marvel movies lately, right?” she asked after announcing the group’s return. Yujin jokingly described it as studying the films’ universe so she could become a hero herself.

From “What Is That?” to Finger Snaps

Reaching Endgame had been the goal of her Marvel journey from the beginning. After fitting in some binge-watching over Chuseok, Yujin could finally say she had made it to the film she had been working towards.

There was a funny change in perspective along the way. When everyone used to talk about Thanos and his finger snap, her reaction had been, “What is that?” Now, she joked, she wanted to go around snapping her fingers herself.

A Bedtime Gift for DIVE

Sorting through her gallery brought another small discovery: selfies she had not yet shared. Yujin sent several as a bedtime gift, including an older photo with bangs, although she admitted she was no longer so keen on cutting them again.

The day had also included her first run in a while. With the afternoons still feeling hot, she spent much of it searching for shade. Feeling pleased with her day, Yujin signed off early ahead of a morning schedule and wished DIVE a good night.

The moment brought back memories of being celebrated at Yonsei University. Gaeul said she was delighted to receive so much love again this year, and sent a warm thank-you to Inkigayo as well.

Thanks for Every Journey and Every Stage

The birthday celebration on stage · September 23, 2026INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO / SBS Open video ↗

Her gratitude was not only about the birthday wishes. Gaeul made a point of thanking everyone who had travelled to see IVE, saying she had realised how far away the venue was and how much effort the journey must have taken.

The members received their own affectionate shout-outs: “Tteo-MC” Leeseo for her two days of hosting, and “Special Gini” Rei. Gaeul then thanked all of her members for their hard work across the event.

Home, Rest and Homemade Mandu

After a hectic day, Gaeul hoped to recharge with a proper rest during Chuseok. She playfully described herself as a battery running out of power: “Beep, beep, beep… battery empty.”

One birthday wish was already with her mother: homemade mandu. Gaeul said the thought made her mouth water and made it clear that her favourite dumplings belonged on the birthday table.

She closed by reminding DIVE about her birthday livestream the following day, when she would be back in Korea. After sharing the celebration with her members and the crowd, there was still another chance to spend her birthday with fans.

Rei Shares Her Relief and Gratitude After Her Stage With Lilas Ikuta

Rei's Bubble update after her special collaboration with Lilas Ikuta, with the message text blurred

After her special stage with Lilas Ikuta at INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO, Rei turned to Bubble to share the nerves, relief and happiness behind a performance that had become a treasured memory.

Rei joined the Japanese singer-songwriter, also known as YOASOBI's ikura, on September 22 at Belluna Dome in Tokorozawa, Saitama. Their first collaboration was a one-night special arranged exclusively for the event.

Hard Work, Nerves and Support From Lilas

For Rei, this was a new kind of stage. Determined to do well, she had practised hard after receiving the song, but the excitement still came with nerves. Lilas's support by her side helped her enjoy the performance right through to the end, leaving Rei reflecting on how music brings people together.

There was another reason to feel relieved: she managed to sing without coughing. Rei joked that she had prayed a thousand times before going on stage. Although the microphone sound was not quite what she had hoped for, being able to enjoy the performance made it a wonderful memory.

The Reassurance That Mattered Most

Watching the stage footage afterwards brought back a different mix of feelings. Rei kept noticing things she wished she had done better and laughed about her emotions going up and down. During the performance itself, though, seeing the audience genuinely enjoying the moment with her had made her incredibly happy.

Above all, hearing DIVE tell her she had done well helped her relax. After all the preparation and nerves, their encouragement left her feeling that she could finally sleep peacefully.

The look was personal, too. Rei revealed that she had styled her own stage outfit and pointed out the day's finishing touch: a curve in her fringe shaped like the Japanese character し.

After a meal with her mother, Rei was finally ready to wind down. She thanked DIVE for their love and asked them to look forward to IVE's group performance the following day, September 23.

IVE’s Rei Fronts Millet’s Fall/Winter 2026 ‘SUPER REI’ Campaign

Millet SUPER REI campaign portrait in a dark navy puffer, turquoise cardigan and grey knitwear.

Millet has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 down campaign with brand model IVE’s Rei. Reported by Apparel News on September 21, the campaign pairs her free-spirited style with the updated Pertex Cité Down, which is also planned for release in Japan.

A New Season for Cité Down

The photographs present outdoor down as everyday fashion, mixing a navy puffer with turquoise knitwear and a mustard jacket with darker layers. The “SUPER REI” graphics, oversized pencil and red sled give the collection a playful studio setting.

This season’s main jacket updates the Cité Down, which drew attention last year as the “chocolate puffer.” It retains the original design while introducing ultralight, high-density Pertex Quantum fabric and Millet’s Cold Zero construction. According to the brand, these changes improve wind protection and warmth.

The mustard colour worn in the campaign will be an online exclusive.

More Campaign Content and a Japan Release

The photo release begins a wider campaign, with videos due to appear progressively on Millet’s official YouTube and Instagram accounts. Fashion-influencer collaborations will also show different ways to style the Pertex Cité Down.

Millet also plans to introduce the Pertex Cité Down in Japan. A brand representative told Apparel News that last year’s Cité Down attracted interest in both Korea and Japan, and that the company intends to reach more Japanese customers this season through the jacket’s design and styling.

Alongside the main jacket, Millet is expanding its lightweight down range with Airball. The brand describes the new design as combining lightweight nylon with everyday water resistance, square-block quilting and a naturally voluminous shape.

Jang Wonyoung Joins Woori’s Ceremony Announcing 10-Year Support for Young Athletes

Group photograph on the Woori MOMOCON stage, with young athletes and the Woori Dream Light sign.

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung helped light the symbolic “Woori Dream Light” at a ceremony announcing Woori Financial Group’s ten-year support plan for young athletes. The ceremony took place during Woori MOMOCON at Seoul Land in Gwacheon on September 19.

Appearing as a Woori Bank brand ambassador, Wonyoung joined Woori Financial Group chairman Lim Jong-ryong and singer Sean onstage. Sean brought the light, symbolising hope for aspiring athletes, before Wonyoung and Lim illuminated it together. The group released details of the event on September 21.

A Long-Term Commitment to Young Athletes

Under the Woori Dream Bridge (우리드림브릿지) programme, Woori Financial plans to provide KRW 3 billion over ten years, through 2036, with support for 60 promising athletes each year. The initiative aims to help young people facing financial or other difficult circumstances continue pursuing their sporting ambitions and develop towards national-team level.

The ceremony set out a long-term commitment for a programme already active earlier this year. In August, Woori arranged a visit to the Jincheon National Training Center, where young beneficiaries met national-team athletes for individual mentoring.

Now in its fourth edition, Woori MOMOCON combined live music with the theme park setting and charitable activities. The Dream Bridge ceremony brought the programme’s young athletes onto the same stage as its supporters, with Wonyoung taking part in the symbolic lighting as the bank’s representative.

2026 KGMA Confirms Global TikTok Livestream, With Liz Hosting Day 2

2026 KGMA poster announcing a live broadcast on TikTok Live for November 7 and 8

The 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards has confirmed a new global viewing route for international fans: both days of the ceremony on November 7 and 8 will stream live through TikTok Live in Korea and globally, except in Japan and China.

For DIVE, the key point is the second night on November 8, when IVE’s Liz will host the ceremony together with actor Kim Jae-won. The livestream announcement therefore adds practical viewing information to an event already relevant for fans following Liz’s MC activities.

Where Fans Can Watch

According to the KGMA Organizing Committee, the awards will also air live on ENA in South Korea. For Japan, a separate announcement has already confirmed Hulu Japan as the local live-streaming platform, with catch-up viewing available afterwards.

That means the currently confirmed viewing options are: TikTok Live for most global regions, ENA in Korea, and Hulu Japan in Japan. The new TikTok notice does not name a replacement platform for China.

A Useful Update, Not a New MC Announcement

Liz’s role as Day 2 MC was announced earlier, so the real update here is the official streaming access for fans outside Japan. Organizers also repeated that the two-day ceremony will take place at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, with Nam Ji-hyun and RESCENE’s Woni hosting the first night.

An Yujin’s Hana Bank Nara Sarang Card Reaches 158,000 Issuances

Hana Bank Nara Sarang Card campaign banner with green knitwear and Korean lettering

IVE’s An Yujin has reached a new milestone in her partnership with Hana Bank: the Nara Sarang Card design featuring her photograph recorded at least 158,000 issuances by August 31, 2026, according to figures released by the bank on September 17.

Reported by Newsis and News1, the total refers specifically to the version bearing Yujin’s image. It provides a concrete measure of the edition’s reach since its January launch.

A Personal Touch for Service Members

Hana Bank announced the Yujin design on January 13, with the new edition available from January 16. The Nara Sarang Card is a debit card used by South Korean military service members, combining everyday payments with benefits designed around their needs.

The edition brings Yujin’s role as a Hana Financial Group advertising model into an everyday item. At launch, the bank also announced that card deliveries would include a postcard bearing a handwritten message of encouragement from Yujin, adding a personal expression of support for those serving in the military.

In the same September update, Hana Bank reported approximately 42% of cumulative card issuances in the Nara Sarang programme’s third phase by the end of August. Hana entered the programme this year. That percentage covers the bank’s overall issuance, not the Yujin design alone.

Yujin and Wonyoung in the Wider Banking Picture

Two days earlier, music critic Im Jin-mo had highlighted Yujin’s Hana Bank role in his Gyeonggi Ilbo column, “The Golden Age of Female Singers” (여가수 전성시대). Published on September 15, the piece used bank advertising as an example of female artists’ influence beyond music, citing Yujin’s work with Hana and fellow IVE member Jang Wonyoung’s work with Woori Bank.

His column offers cultural context rather than an analysis of the newly announced card figures. For DIVE, the September update adds a measurable milestone to Yujin’s endorsement story, although the figures do not establish how much of Hana Bank’s wider growth was caused by her campaign alone.

Jang Wonyoung Named UGG’s APAC Ambassador, Stars in ‘Born to Feel’ Campaign

UGG campaign portrait beside a brick wall, with a brown textured jacket, blue jeans and shearling-trimmed boots.

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has been named UGG’s new brand ambassador for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Announced on September 17, the partnership begins with “Born to Feel,” a campaign introducing the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection.

UGG said Wonyoung’s confidence and positive energy reflect its emphasis on individuality and self-expression. Her first activities as an ambassador include campaign photographs and advertising films.

A More Relaxed Side of Wonyoung

The campaign steps away from the spotlight to present a more relaxed, everyday side of Wonyoung. At its heart is the idea that genuine comfort begins with being yourself, connecting the brand’s familiar softness with an unforced approach to personal style.

Autumn Textures and Updated Classics

The seasonal lineup updates UGG’s signature silhouettes through different materials, finishes and proportions. Featured styles include the Enwrap Clog, with a suede-covered platform; the Classic Ultra Mini Fluffed, with a plush wool exterior; and the Classic Mini Heritage, which combines wool and corduroy details with a small boot-shaped charm.

The photographs bring those textures into warm, understated settings: a brown textured jacket and wide-leg denim beside a brick wall, tonal brown tailoring in a wooden armchair, and cream knitwear framed by soft pink curtains. The styling keeps the focus on easy layers and the footwear.

Campaign Launch and Tokyo Displays

UGG Japan confirmed that the campaign launches on September 17 across its website, social media, advertising and stores. Large outdoor displays are also planned at five locations in Tokyo from September 21 to 27, including Laforet Harajuku and sites around Shibuya’s Tower Records, west exit, MODI and Shibuya 109.

The outdoor advertising schedule may change depending on weather and installation conditions.

AAA 2026 Day 2 hosts and actor lineup poster

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung will co-host the second day of the 2026 Asia Artist Awards with actor Ji Chang-wook on December 6 at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan. The AAA Organizing Committee confirmed the pairing in its September 15 announcement of the event’s day-by-day artist lineups.

The opening day on December 5 will be hosted by TWICE’s Tzuyu and Sung Han-bin, completing two presenting teams across the weekend. The ceremony brings together singers and actors at the Kaohsiung venue, with Wonyoung and Ji Chang-wook taking over hosting duties for the following day’s programme.

Pink soft-focus STANCE teaser with a large numeral 1 and Chinese announcement countdown text

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has been announced as a new brand ambassador for STANCE. The brand unveiled her new role on its official Weibo account on September 14, alongside a soft-toned campaign image.

Introducing the partnership as “Jang Wonyoung × STANCE,” the announcement connects her composure on stage with everyday style. Its message brings together light steps and inner strength, presenting elegance as something that comes from within and carries into the way a person moves.

The campaign image places Wonyoung in a bright, relaxed interior, wearing a pale pink knit cardigan and a white tulle skirt with knee-high socks and cream flats. The neutral setting and understated styling keep the focus on the look, while the visual carries the STANCE logo and her new brand ambassador title.

Jang Wonyoung Stars in Dyson’s New “Burgundy Wood” Campaign

Overhead campaign photograph in a red dress beside a grey chair, holding a hair styler

Jang Wonyoung brings a warm autumn mood to Dyson’s new “Burgundy Wood” campaign, unveiled by Dyson Korea on September 14. The seasonal limited-edition launch introduces new campaign photographs featuring Wonyoung, one of the brand’s Asia-Pacific ambassadors. Actor Park Bo-gum also appears in the campaign.

Created for the gifting season, Burgundy Wood combines Red Plum, Ash Ginger and Peach Copper in a warm metallic finish. Dyson says the colourway was inspired by the rare mineral kyawthuite, with a surface designed to shift subtly as the angle of light changes. Deep Plum attachments complete the coordinated palette.

The campaign imagery carries those warm tones into its styling and sets. Pink knitwear, brown tailoring and a red dress appear against textured walls and rich brown interiors, while straight hair and soft waves bring different looks to the collection. The photographs give each styling scene its own mood within the shared colour palette.

The edition covers four hair-care devices: the Airwrap Co-anda2x, Airwrap i.d., Supersonic Nural and Airstrait. Its Korean rollout begins in stages from September 14 through Dyson’s official website, stores and other retail channels. The new photographs accompany that seasonal launch, placing Wonyoung’s styling at the centre of the beauty campaign.

From Seoul to Taipei: IVE Close the 2026 Chapter of “SHOW WHAT I AM”

SHOW WHAT I AM tour promotional group photograph

IVE brought the currently announced 2026 run of SHOW WHAT I AM to a close in Taipei on September 13, completing three consecutive nights at Taipei Arena. From the opening concerts in Seoul to Japan’s dome stages, Oceania and North America, this chapter of their second world tour gave all six members room to show who they are and gave DIVE plenty of moments to carry home.

Three Seoul Nights, Then a Journey Across the World

The journey began at KSPO DOME in Seoul on October 31–November 2, 2025. Those three opening shows established the starting point for a tour that would unfold across Asia, Oceania and North America over the following year.

Counting the published concert dates through the Taipei finale, the run totals 28 shows in 20 cities: three opening performances in 2025 and 25 concerts in 2026. That count follows the itinerary, including the additional Hong Kong and Taipei nights announced after the initial schedule.

The route moved from Kuala Lumpur through Osaka, Manila, Singapore and Macau during spring. June brought Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland before a return to Tokyo; an eight-city North American leg followed in July and August. September then brought the tour back to Asia for two three-night runs.

A Concert Built Around Six Individual Identities

The production paired a live band and refreshed arrangements with a broader selection of IVE’s music. The Singapore venue’s official introduction described a show designed to revisit familiar favourites while also giving album tracks and new solo material their own space.

The six solo stages made that individual focus especially clear: Wonyoung’s “8,” Rei’s “In Your Heart,” Liz’s “Unreal,” Gaeul’s “Odd,” Leeseo’s “Super ICY” and Yujin’s “Force.” Each member had a song of her own within the larger group performance, turning the tour’s title into something personal as well as collective.

Rather than treating the members’ individual identities and IVE’s group identity as separate stories, the concert format brought both together. The solo section offered six different perspectives before the members returned to the shared stage.

A Tour That Grew Alongside the Music

The musical backdrop also developed between Seoul and Taipei. REVIVE+, released on February 23, 2026, arrived while the tour was underway. Live Nation described the second full-length album as a creative centrepiece for the tour and framed SHOW WHAT I AM as a move from the confidence of “I” towards the connection of “We.”

By the June concert in Tokyo, the documented setlist included “BLACKHOLE,” “BANG BANG” and “LUCID DREAM” alongside established favourites. The tour therefore became a meeting point between different parts of IVE’s catalogue, rather than a snapshot of just one release.

Japan’s Dome Chapter Reached 127,000 Fans

The Japanese leg delivered one of the tour’s clearest milestones. IVE performed at Kyocera Dome Osaka for the first time on April 18 and 19, then returned to Tokyo Dome on June 24.

According to Kakao Entertainment, those Japanese dome concerts drew approximately 127,000 people in total. The Tokyo concert report carried by JOYSOUND puts the audience for that evening at around 48,000.

Across three performances, the Japanese chapter connected a first visit to one major dome with a return to another. Those figures belong specifically to the Japanese leg, giving a concrete measure of its scale within the wider journey.

Eight Cities Across North America

The next chapter opened in Toronto on July 21 and continued through Montréal, Newark, Austin, Inglewood in the Los Angeles area, Oakland and Seattle, before reaching Vancouver on August 9.

With three Canadian stops and five in the United States, the route took IVE from eastern Canada across the continent to the Pacific coast.

Three Nights in Hong Kong, Three Nights in Taipei

September’s closing stretch began with three concerts at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Arena on September 4–6, followed by Taipei Arena on September 11–13.

Taipei’s final night was itself a sign of demand: the original announcement covered September 11 and 12, before a third show was added on September 13. Vogue Taiwan reported that all three concerts had sold out ahead of the series and noted that this was IVE’s first time performing at Taipei Arena.

A stop first planned as a two-night visit became the three-night conclusion to the announced 2026 itinerary. Together with Hong Kong, it gave the closing stretch six concerts in two cities before the final curtain in Taipei.

One Last “After LIKE” in Taipei

The September 13 finale closed with “After LIKE”. Watch the 6-minute, 29-second closing sequence here, with the performance and farewell moments together in one clip. It is a fitting place to end this look back: with the music and the people who made the final night happen.

From Seoul’s opening weekend to the final Taipei encore, this chapter of SHOW WHAT I AM brought new songs, individual stages and a shared concert experience to DIVE across the world. For now, the last word belongs to that final “After LIKE” and to everyone who was part of the journey.

BRAND UPDATE September 10, 2026

AMUSE Apologizes to Jang Wonyoung Over Inappropriate Wording in Chinese Product Listings

AMUSE promotional photograph

AMUSE has apologized to IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, her fans and customers after inappropriate wording referring to her appeared in Chinese product listings. The brand’s Chinese-language statement was published on September 9.

The listings included the nickname “Yingzi”, which Chinese fans said has been used online to disparage Wonyoung. Fan community CherryYard called for a public explanation and apology, saying the term was associated with malicious attacks rather than an ordinary nickname. The group also argued that quietly changing the wording did not address what had happened.

AMUSE said the sales channel was independently operated by a former distributor clearing its remaining inventory, rather than directly by the brand. According to its explanation, a staff member used an inappropriate temporary designation while revising a product title that had referred to Wonyoung, and the wording passed through a gap in the internal review process.

The company said the text was corrected after fans raised concerns, but also apologized for failing to explain the situation and respond publicly sooner. It acknowledged its own responsibility for oversight, since the channel was still using AMUSE branding to sell products.

AMUSE said it instructed the distributor to review product titles and past posts across platforms including Xiaohongshu and Taobao. Inappropriate wording and information that had not been approved by the brand were being corrected or removed.

The brand also said it would bring forward the end of the affected channel’s operations as remaining inventory sales were wrapped up. It pledged stronger supervision of partner-operated channels and stricter review procedures for promotional materials involving artists.

Gaeul Says “FALL ON” Is Inspiring DIVE to Start Reading

IVE's Gaeul reflects on FALL ON and its influence on DIVE's reading habits

During IVE’s stay in Taipei, Gaeul reflected on the response to her personal content series FALL ON, saying she felt proud to hear that even DIVE who had previously shown little interest in books had begun reading because of it.

Gaeul read comments under the latest Gaeul’s Temperature episode while travelling and said the series feels increasingly close to the direction she originally wanted to pursue. Alongside calm everyday vlogs, FALL ON gives her a space to share a side of herself that she feels cannot be shown in quite the same way elsewhere.

A Careful Approach to Book Reviews

The response has made her want to recommend even more good books. At the same time, Gaeul admitted that she is hesitant to review titles that strongly divide opinion because she worries that her comments could influence how other people approach them.

She joked that she often finds herself on the negative side of those debates and wondered what an honest “ST” type who finds it difficult to hide her true reaction might end up saying. Even so, she promised to remember the books recommended by DIVE.

Bubble Tea and a Short-Hair Plan for Taipei

The update ended on a lighter note. After sleeping through much of the flight and enjoying a room-service steak, Gaeul found brown sugar bubble tea at the fansign venue. She also shared her own Gong Cha recommendation: chocolate milk tea with cheese foam.

After the fansign, Gaeul revealed that she had worn a fresh, softly styled bob that day. She said she wants to use the short hairstyle for one of IVE’s three Taipei concerts, although she had not yet decided which performance.

Wonyoung Discovers Her Name Is Being Used as the Opposite of “Bamti”

Jang Wonyoung shares a Bubble update after arriving in Taipei and reacting to the bamti internet meme

After arriving safely in Taipei for IVE’s three consecutive concerts, Jang Wonyoung shared her amused reaction to discovering that her own name is now being used online as the opposite of the Korean slang term “bamti.”

Wonyoung said the members had travelled by plane that morning and would perform at Taipei Arena for three days before returning home. Before leaving, she also noticed that the air had suddenly become much cooler, joking that summer had stayed just long enough to celebrate her birthday before flying away and making room for autumn.

The Search Result Was Her Own Name

The conversation took an unexpected turn when people around Wonyoung asked whether she knew the opposite of 밤티 (bamti). Worried that she was once again the only person who had missed a current joke, she followed their suggestion and searched the phrase online. The answer she found was simply: Jang Wonyoung.

Bamti is recent Korean internet slang used for something considered unattractive, unfashionable or aesthetically awkward, often with a humorous meme-like tone. The newer joke turns Wonyoung’s name into its playful opposite, using “Jang Wonyoung” for something especially satisfying or exactly suited to someone’s taste.

A “Jang Wonyoung Day”

Wonyoung was surprised that the expression had spread without her knowing, but quickly embraced it. She told fans not to eat a “bamti meal” but a “Jang Wonyoung meal,” and to enjoy a “Jang Wonyoung day” rather than a “bamti day.”

After seeing her English name Vicky transformed into the familiar phrase “Lucky Vicky,” she joked that her Korean name would now be used everywhere as well. Wonyoung promised to send positive energy to anyone who says her name and ended the update by wishing DIVE a “Jang Wonyoung day.”

LEGAL UPDATE September 9, 2026

Starship Files New Criminal Complaints Over Malicious Content Targeting Jang Wonyoung

Starship Entertainment’s Korean statement on a prison sentence in an earlier fabricated-video case and new criminal complaints concerning Jang Wonyoung

Starship Entertainment says it has filed additional criminal complaints over malicious online content targeting IVE’s Jang Wonyoung. In the same statement, the agency also reported a recent custodial prison sentence in an earlier case involving fabricated videos targeting its artists.

The announcement outlines the company’s continuing response to false information, defamation, insults, sexual harassment and the production or distribution of fabricated video content affecting its artists.

Prison Sentence in an Earlier Case

According to Starship, a defendant prosecuted for offences including the distribution of fabricated videos targeting its artists was recently given a custodial prison sentence. The company identified Kim & Chang as its legal representative in the case.

Starship said it had taken a firm approach throughout the investigation and trial, and would continue to pursue accountability for serious infringements of its artists’ rights under a zero-tolerance policy.

Additional Complaints Concerning Wonyoung

Separately, the agency said it had completed evidence gathering and filed additional criminal complaints on the day of the statement over repeated malicious content about Wonyoung. The targets include certain YouTube channels, including those it describes as “cyber wreckers”, as well as people posting false information and persistent malicious attacks on online communities and social media.

Starship specified the conduct covered by the new action: repeatedly publishing and circulating false claims about Wonyoung, distorting portions of recorded footage, or adding information that does not match the facts to make false claims about her character and behaviour. The notice also addresses sustained malicious slander and personal attacks.

The company said it was continuing to collect evidence of identical or similar false claims being reposted even after the objective facts had been established. It also singled out selectively edited or distorted scenes used to circulate false information.

Repeat Uploaders and Overseas Accounts Included

The agency’s monitoring extends beyond the original creators of malicious posts. Starship said it would also pursue necessary civil and criminal measures against accounts and channels that repeatedly publish or distribute such material.

That approach includes anonymous or pseudonymous accounts and overseas platforms. Starship said it would use the necessary legal procedures, on both domestic and international services, to identify authors and distributors and pursue their legal responsibility.

Following the Agency’s June Update

The new statement follows Starship’s June 18, 2026 update on its response to malicious posts targeting Wonyoung. At that time, the agency said investigations were underway to identify suspects and secure evidence, with warrant procedures for user information on Korean platforms such as Naver Blog and DC Inside and international cooperation procedures concerning overseas services including X.

Starship closed its latest notice by reaffirming that it would continue active legal action to protect its artists’ rights and help them work in a safe environment.

IVE’s “LUCID DREAM” Returns to Billboard Japan’s Top 5 With 23,344 Weekly Sales

IVE LUCID DREAM Japanese EP promotional visual

IVE’s fourth Japanese EP LUCID DREAM has returned to the Top 5 of Billboard Japan’s weekly Top Albums Sales chart, finishing at No. 4 with 23,344 physical copies sold during August 31–September 6.

Billboard Japan reported the final result on September 7, confirming a climb from No. 32 the previous week to No. 4. The return comes more than three months after the EP’s May 27, 2026 release.

From the Midweek Count to the Final Result
The earlier First Look report had placed LUCID DREAM at No. 3 with 22,531 copies during August 31–September 2. The completed week added another 813 copies, bringing the final total to 23,344. Billboard Japan’s physical sales figures are based on SoundScan Japan data.

Two Consecutive Days at No. 1 on Oricon
The weekly result follows the EP’s return to the top of Oricon’s Daily Album Chart. LUCID DREAM reached No. 1 on August 30 with an estimated 9,424 copies, then remained at No. 1 on August 31 with another 9,042 copies.

Those daily results and the final Billboard Japan ranking capture the EP’s renewed chart activity long after its original launch.

A Strong Return Beyond Release Week
LUCID DREAM originally debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Japan’s weekly Top Albums Sales chart with 139,278 copies, followed by 11,151 copies in its second week. The latest 23,344-copy week is more than twice that second-week total.

Special Release Events in Osaka and Tokyo
The renewed chart activity coincided with LUCID DREAM release events in Osaka on August 30 and Tokyo on August 31. These included individual signing sessions, a random-member stamp event and a postcard handover event with all six members.

CDs were also sold at the venues with a randomly selected venue-exclusive selfie photocard for each eligible purchase. Those sales booths were open even to fans without entry to the member events. The timing provides context for the renewed interest, without establishing how much of the weekly sales total came from the venues.

Jang Wonyoung Fronts Eider’s 2026 Fall/Winter “Real Hiker” Campaign

Eider 2026 Fall/Winter Real Hiker campaign — mint down jacket and backpack in a forest

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung fronts Eider’s new 2026 Fall/Winter “Real Hiker” campaign, with a fresh seasonal pictorial unveiled on September 7.

The concept centres on people encountering nature and enjoying the outdoors in their own way. Wonyoung brings that idea to a range of autumn and winter looks, moving from elegant outfits for the transition between seasons to fuller winter down styling.

The newly released photographs pair outdoor clothing with a poised, understated mood. Rather than focusing on a single jacket or one seasonal look, the series shows Wonyoung wearing different styles across the colder-weather wardrobe, combining the practical identity of hiking apparel with a polished fashion presentation.

The pictorial adds a new seasonal chapter to Wonyoung’s work with Eider. News1 published five campaign photos supplied by the brand, giving DIVE a closer look at the “Real Hiker” concept and the contrasting transitional and winter outfits featured in the campaign.

IVE’s 2024 Tokyo Dome Finale to Receive First TV Broadcast on WOWOW

IVE's 2024 SHOW WHAT I HAVE Tokyo Dome finale to receive its first television broadcast on WOWOW

IVE’s 2024 Tokyo Dome finale from the group’s first world tour will receive its first television broadcast on WOWOW on October 10, with simultaneous streaming and a one-month archive through WOWOW On Demand.

Broadcast Schedule
The programme will air on WOWOW Prime on Saturday, October 10 at 6:00 p.m. JST. It will be streamed online at the same time through WOWOW On Demand.

After the broadcast ends, the concert will remain available in the WOWOW On Demand archive for one month.

IVE’s First Tokyo Dome Finale
Officially titled IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’ IN JAPAN, the programme was recorded across IVE’s two Tokyo Dome concerts on September 4 and 5, 2024.

The sold-out shows brought the group’s first world tour to its conclusion after a journey spanning 19 countries. WOWOW describes the upcoming programme as the first television broadcast and streaming presentation of the Tokyo Dome performances.

Paid WOWOW Subscription in Japan
The concert is included in WOWOW’s regular subscription rather than being sold as a separate event ticket. The standard plan costs ¥2,530 per month including tax and includes access to WOWOW On Demand.

WOWOW’s television and on-demand services are provided within Japan, so the confirmed broadcast is intended for viewers using the service there.

Three Months of IVE on WOWOW
The October concert opens a three-month IVE × WOWOW special. November will bring an IVE Music Video Collection, followed in December by an exclusive broadcast and stream of IVE WORLD TOUR ‘SHOW WHAT I AM’ IN JAPAN, recorded at Tokyo Dome on June 24, 2026.

WOWOW has also confirmed a one-month on-demand archive for the December concert, giving the series a direct link between IVE’s first and second world-tour appearances at Tokyo Dome.

INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO: Updated Streaming Guide for IVE’s September 23 Appearance

INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO 2026 lineup artwork for September 22 and 23 at Belluna Dome

IVE will perform at INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO on September 23, with Leeseo returning as an MC. This updated guide brings together the start times, SBSKPOP ALL ACCESS membership information and Japan-only SkyPerfecTV! access details ahead of the two-day event.

The main-stage livestreams are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. JST / 9:00 a.m. UTC / 11:00 a.m. CEST on September 22 and 23. This is the start of the programme, not an announced time for IVE’s individual performance. The organiser published a further SkyPerfecTV! access notice on September 21.

IVE Across Both Days
The first day will already include two important IVE-related appearances. Leeseo will host the September 22 show alongside CORTIS members Keonho and Seonghyeon, while Rei will perform a one-night special collaboration with Japanese singer-songwriter Lilas Ikuta.

The collaboration has been announced as an event-exclusive stage, but the song they will perform has not yet been revealed.

On September 23, IVE will appear as a full group, while Leeseo will return as an MC together with EJ of &TEAM. The second-day lineup also includes Ado, BE:FIRST, &TEAM, INI, Hearts2Hearts, HANA, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AND2BLE and AEN.

How to Watch Through YouTube
SBS previously announced that the main-stage livestream would be available through the official SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO YouTube channel. Viewers need to open the channel’s membership page and select the ALL ACCESS level specifically.

YouTube channel memberships are recurring monthly subscriptions rather than one-time event tickets. Memberships are available in Czechia, and YouTube displays the local price in Czech koruna before the purchase is confirmed. The subscription can be cancelled later through the viewer’s YouTube membership settings.

ALL ACCESS Event Benefits
SBS lists four benefits for ALL ACCESS members around the Tokyo event: the main-stage livestream, 4K fancams, full behind-the-scenes videos and a collection of unreleased clips. The announcement presents these as event-wide membership benefits across the September 22–23 programme. Before joining, check the event’s members-only listing for regional availability. We could not confirm whether YouTube will offer a replay; SkyPerfecTV!’s no-replay policy should not be applied to YouTube.

SkyPerfecTV! Access in Japan
SkyPerfecTV! will carry both days through its Program Streaming service, available only in Japan. The standard SkyPerfecTV! service requires the Basic Plan. Subscribers to Premium Service can also watch with the Premium Pack, while Premium Service Hikari subscribers qualify with Hikari Pack HD. Other subscriptions do not automatically include access.

Eligible subscribers can watch through the streaming website or app on a smartphone, tablet or computer, without an additional event fee. The official streaming guide linked below explains the access steps.

SkyPerfecTV! will not provide catch-up viewing or an archive replay, and there will be no simultaneous live broadcast on its television channels. Ado’s performance segment will not be included in the SkyPerfecTV! livestream; IVE remain listed among its Day 2 performers.

Ticket Giveaway — Closed
The previously announced SkyPerfecTV! subscriber giveaway, offering five pairs of reserved-seat tickets for each day, closed on September 9 at 11:59 p.m. JST. Applications are no longer open.

Nagoya-Born IVE’s Rei Fronts KBS Promotion for the 2026 Asian Games

IVE's Rei fronts KBS promotion for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games

IVE’s Rei has become the face of KBS’s promotional campaign for its coverage of the 2026 Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games, using her connection to her hometown to introduce the host city and cheer on South Korea’s national team.

“Nagoya Is a Boring City? Let Me Show You”
The newly released promotional video opens with Rei peeking through red curtains before playfully challenging Nagoya’s reputation as a city with little to do: “They say Nagoya is a boring city? Let me show you.”

The clip then moves through views of Nagoya and footage of South Korean athletes preparing for the Games, accompanied by the message “Nagoya, where our dreams will come true.” Rei’s hometown connection places her at the centre of a campaign introducing both the host city and the excitement surrounding the Korean delegation.

Rei Meets KBS’s Medal-Winning Commentary Team
Another part of the video shows Rei reacting to KBS’s lineup of former national athletes and international medalists who will provide expert commentary across sports including football, baseball, fencing, archery, badminton, volleyball, swimming and judo.

After seeing the experienced broadcast team, Rei closes the video with an enthusiastic “As expected from KBS!”

KBS Coverage of Aichi–Nagoya 2026
KBS is promoting its coverage under the slogan “The Moment We Become One Again — Asian Games on KBS.” The broadcaster’s competition coverage begins with the men’s basketball preliminary round on September 10, followed by the opening ceremony on September 19.

The 20th Asian Games will take place across Aichi and Nagoya from September 19 through October 4, 2026. Rei’s appearance gives the Korean campaign a direct local connection through an IVE member who was born in the host city.

Starship Entertainment health update confirming An Yujin will join IVE's Hong Kong concerts without choreography

Starship Entertainment has announced that An Yujin will participate in IVE’s SHOW WHAT I AM concerts in Hong Kong without choreography while she continues to recover from a knee injury.

Yujin remains scheduled to appear on stage with IVE, but her participation will exclude choreography. Starship said it will continue to monitor her condition and ensure that she takes part in upcoming schedules only within limits that do not place excessive strain on her.

The agency added that it will provide full support so Yujin can recover sufficiently and continue her activities in good health, while asking DIVE for understanding and warm support.

IVE have entered the Female Group category of the AAA 2026 Popularity Award, with the first qualifying vote now open through STARPOLL until September 11.

The Popularity Award is decided entirely by global fan voting. This year’s vote is divided into six categories for male and female actors, groups and solo singers, with IVE competing in the Female Group Singer field.

Pre-Vote on STARPOLL
The first round began on September 4 at 3:01 p.m. KST and closes on September 11 at 3:00 p.m. KST. For DIVE in Central Europe, the deadline is September 11 at 8:00 a.m. CEST.

The Top 40 candidates in each category will advance to the preliminary round. To participate, open the official STARPOLL app, enter the AAA 2026 Popularity Award vote, choose the Female Group category and select IVE.

Preliminary Vote on IDOLCHAMP
The next round will move to IDOLCHAMP and run from September 16 at 10:00 a.m. KST until October 6 at 11:59 p.m. KST. The Top 20 candidates will advance, and the preliminary result will contribute 30 percent of the final score.

In Central Europe, this stage opens on September 16 at 3:00 a.m. CEST and closes on October 6 at 4:59 p.m. CEST.

Final Vote on IDOLCHAMP
The final round will take place from October 8 at 10:00 a.m. KST through November 4 at 11:59 p.m. KST. Its result will account for the remaining 70 percent, combined with the 30 percent carried over from the preliminary round.

For Central Europe, the final opens on October 8 at 3:00 a.m. CEST and closes on November 4 at 3:59 p.m. CET following the seasonal clock change.

The winner in each of the six categories will receive the AAA 2026 Popularity Award trophy. The 11th Asia Artist Awards will be held on December 5 and 6 at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan.

IVE’s Liz Releases Seaside Special Clip for Her DIVE-Inspired Solo “Unreal”

IVE's Liz in the seaside Special Clip for her solo song Unreal

Shortly after teasing a mysterious upload on Bubble, Liz revealed the answer: a new seaside Special Clip for “Unreal,” her solo song from IVE’s second full-length album REVIVE+.

Earlier on September 3, Liz told DIVE that she had already watched a finished video and playfully wondered whether the coming upload might be a cover before refusing to reveal anything more. The official clip appeared later the same day, completing the surprise she had set up with fans.

A Song Written With DIVE in Mind
“Unreal” was officially released on February 23, 2026 as Liz’s individual track on REVIVE+. Liz participated in writing its Korean lyrics and explained at the album showcase that she worked on them while thinking of DIVE.

The song gave her a chance to explore a rock-influenced, band-driven sound outside IVE’s usual group material. She wanted to combine a free and refreshing atmosphere with powerful, emotional vocals, making the track both a personal musical challenge and a direct expression of her bond with fans.

During IVE’s first listening party for the album in Los Angeles, “Unreal” was described as a love letter to DIVE. When asked where she would most like to perform it for fans, Liz chose a pier.

A Seaside Visual That Fits the Song
The Special Clip places Liz beside the sea, using an open horizon, wind and bright coastal scenery to match the song’s refreshing band sound. The setting is not presented as a literal recreation of her earlier answer, but it gives her wish to sing “Unreal” near the water a particularly fitting visual echo.

Rather than building the clip around a large performance set, the video keeps its focus on Liz and the atmosphere of the song, giving the solo a relaxed standalone visual identity.

From an Unreleased Tour Solo to Its Own Clip
DIVE first heard “Unreal” during the opening concerts of IVE WORLD TOUR SHOW WHAT I AM at KSPO Dome in Seoul from October 31 to November 2, 2025, when all six members unveiled previously unreleased solo songs.

The track was then officially released on REVIVE+ in February 2026 and continued to reach audiences through IVE’s world tour. The new Special Clip now gives “Unreal” its own visual chapter, completing a journey from an unreleased concert stage to an official album track and standalone video.

IVE, “XOXZ” and “SHOW WHAT I AM” Enter the 2026 Weibo Music Awards Fan Vote

IVE, XOXZ and SHOW WHAT I AM enter three categories in the 2026 Weibo Music Awards fan vote

IVE have been selected in three categories for the online fan-voting phase of the 2026 Weibo Music Awards, with “XOXZ” and IVE WORLD TOUR SHOW WHAT I AM joining the group in the annual rankings.

IVE are represented across artist, song and concert categories:

Annual Recommended Artist — Overseas: IVE
Annual Recommended Song — Overseas: “XOXZ”
Annual Recommended Concert: IVE WORLD TOUR SHOW WHAT I AM

The Weibo Music Awards annual ranking is organised through Weibo and places strong emphasis on fan participation and activity on the Chinese platform.

Voting Period
The online recommendation phase opened on September 1 at 2:00 p.m. China Standard Time and will close on September 13 at 11:59 p.m. CST. For DIVE in Central Europe, the deadline is September 13 at 5:59 p.m. CEST.

How to Support All Three Entries
Weibo calls each act of support “Raise Key” or 升Key. After signing in, users can open the WMA annual ranking page, select the relevant entry and use the available Raise Key opportunities. Daily check-ins and platform tasks can provide additional opportunities, and task-earned chances are valid only for that day.

The five main WMA tracks — Song, Music Video, Concert, Artist and Performance IP — count their support opportunities independently. Because IVE’s three entries appear in the Artist, Song and Concert tracks, fans can support all three rather than dividing one shared total between them.

The Artist and Song rankings are also separated into Chinese and Overseas sections. IVE appear in the Overseas Artist field, while “XOXZ” competes in the Overseas Song field. SHOW WHAT I AM appears in the overall Annual Recommended Concert category.

Receiving entries for the group itself, a Korean title track and an international world tour gives IVE broad visibility in the 2026 programme and offers Chinese DIVE three different ways to support their latest activities before the recommendation period closes.

2026 KGMA Voting Opens: How to Support IVE and “BANG BANG”

IVE-related voting targets at the 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards

Updated September 5: the active 2026 KGMA ballot includes four IVE-related voting targets across the group and three members.

Official mobile voting opened on August 31 at 10:00 a.m. KST through coogoong, the global fandom platform previously known as Fancast. The current first round closes on September 12 at 11:59 p.m. KST, or September 12 at 4:59 p.m. CEST in Central Europe.

All IVE-Related Voting Targets
Best Music & Artist — “BANG BANG – IVE”
Best O.S.T — “Princess Catch! Teenieping” – LIZ
K-Wave Popularity — REI
K-Wave Popularity — JANG WONYOUNG

Open the 2026 KGMA section in coogoong and enter each relevant ballot. Rei and Wonyoung appear as separate nominees in the overseas-only K-Wave Popularity vote, while Liz competes with the theme song she recorded for the animated series Princess Catch! Teenieping.

Coogoong offers free ways to collect voting resources through daily check-ins, advertisements and other tasks, alongside optional in-app purchases. The live app currently uses 200 Blue or Gold Hearts for one vote, allows up to 100 votes per submission and applies a one-minute cooldown before another submission. DIVE should still confirm the live balance, conversion rate and limits inside the app because these mechanics can change.

How the Votes Count
For Best Music & Artist and Best O.S.T, the official coogoong vote contributes 35 percent of the award result. The first round and final each provide half of that voting component.

K-Wave Popularity is decided entirely by the coogoong fan vote. Its overseas first round and final each contribute 50 percent.

This Is Direct KGMA Voting
The KGMA campaign is different from the MAMA SUPER FAN application that is also currently open. MAMA is first selecting fans who may later help choose nominees, while KGMA already allows DIVE to vote directly for the listed IVE entries and members.

“BANG BANG” enters the vote after becoming the first song released in 2026 to achieve a Perfect All-Kill on South Korea’s major music charts. Liz’s Princess Catch! Teenieping theme song was released in September 2025 as the opening theme for the animation’s sixth season.

2026 KGMA Schedule
The third Korea Grand Music Awards will be held on November 7 and 8 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. Liz is confirmed to co-host the second ceremony on November 8 alongside actor Kim Jae-won.

The performing artist lineup is being announced separately. IVE’s group performance has not yet been confirmed, so the current information concerns voting targets rather than a confirmed stage.

Jang Wonyoung Wins Female Advertising Model of the Year for Second Consecutive Year

Jang Wonyoung celebrates winning Female Advertising Model of the Year for a second consecutive year

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has won Female Advertising Model of the Year at the 2026 Brand of the Year Awards, successfully defending the title she first received in 2025.

The back-to-back victory was announced on September 1 as part of the awards’ People and Culture results. Wonyoung received the top prize in the Advertising Model of the Year — Female category after another year of high-profile campaigns and ambassador activities across several industries.

Chosen Through a Public Consumer Vote
The Brand of the Year Awards select their winners through nationwide consumer voting rather than a monthly online reputation analysis. Voting for the 2026 edition took place from June 29 through July 12.

In the South Korean vote, approximately 770,000 consumers participated and around 7.95 million votes were recorded across the awards’ many categories.

What the Award Represents
Now in its 24th edition, the Brand of the Year Awards are hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and organised by the Korea Consumer Forum and its partners. Each year, the programme recognises brands and public figures that consumers believe made a particularly strong impact during the year.

The 2026 People and Culture results included 64 South Korean winners, with additional consumer-selected categories conducted in China, Vietnam and Indonesia. Wonyoung’s award belongs to the South Korean female advertising model category.

Back-to-Back Recognition
Wonyoung first won the same female advertising model title at the 2025 Brand of the Year Awards. Repeating the result one year later makes the new award more than recognition for a single campaign: it reflects sustained public awareness of her work across two consecutive advertising seasons.

Her latest victory arrives during another active period in her commercial career. In late August alone, EIDER expanded its long-running partnership with Wonyoung by appointing her as a brand ambassador for China, while ROLAROLA released its 2026 Fall “OFF HOURS” campaign with her as the face of the collection.

Wonyoung has continued to work across fashion, beauty, luxury, finance, food and beverage campaigns, adapting to markedly different brand concepts while maintaining a highly recognisable individual image. The second consecutive consumer-voted title confirms that her influence is being recognised not only by the companies selecting her, but also by the public seeing those campaigns.

2026 MAMA Super Fan Applications Open: How DIVE Can Support IVE

2026 MAMA Super Fan application campaign and benefits for IVE fans

Applications for the 2026 MAMA SUPER FAN program are now open, giving selected fans the right to help choose the nominees for the 2026 MAMA AWARDS FANS’ CHOICE category.

MAMA SUPER FAN is an official MAMA AWARDS ambassador program operated through Mnet Plus. It is open to K-pop fans of any age and nationality, meaning DIVE around the world can apply and select IVE as the artist they support.

Application Period
Applications opened on August 27 at 12:00 p.m. KST and will close on September 6 at 11:59 p.m. KST. For fans in Central Europe, the deadline is September 6 at 4:59 p.m. CEST. The selected Super Fans are scheduled to be announced on September 10.

How DIVE Can Apply
Open the Mnet Plus app, enter the MAMA section and choose MAMA SUPERFAN — Apply. In the application form, select IVE as your supported artist, complete the requested message and submit the entry.

Mnet Plus also gives applicants a shareable link after submission. The platform has advised fans that sharing their application link and watching more videos connected to their selected SUPER FAN artist can improve their chances of being chosen. These activities do not guarantee selection, but they are the two official participation tips currently promoted by Mnet Plus.

What Selected Super Fans Receive
The main benefit is the right to participate in the process that selects the nominees for the 2026 MAMA AWARDS FANS’ CHOICE category. Selected participants will also receive a special MAMA SUPER FAN ID card.

Additional mission-based rewards may include invitations to the 2026 MAMA AWARDS, accommodation, access to a soundcheck and MplePoints. Mnet has clarified that these extra rewards will be awarded by random draw among users who take part in the relevant events or missions.

This Is Not the Final FANS’ CHOICE Vote
Applying as an IVE Super Fan does not immediately add a vote to IVE’s final award total. This stage determines who will be allowed to participate in the earlier nominee-selection process. The public voting stages for the eventual FANS’ CHOICE winners will take place later.

The program was first introduced in 2024 and is now entering its third year. CJ ENM says approximately 650,000 fans participated last year, showing how large the pool of potential nominee voters has become.

The 2026 MAMA AWARDS will be held on November 20 and 21 at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, with a global live broadcast planned through Mnet Plus. This year’s build-up will also include the newly launched MAMA FAN FESTA, featuring fan-focused programs and collaborations across online and offline spaces.

For DIVE, the immediate goal is simple: apply before September 6, choose IVE and help increase the number of IVE supporters who may take part in selecting the FANS’ CHOICE nominees.

Rei Reflects on Lost Photos and Her Precious Memories With IVE

IVE's Rei reflects on lost photos and memories with the other members

On Wonyoung's birthday, Rei shared a bittersweet story about a special photo she had planned to post but could no longer find after changing phones.

Losing her own older photos did not trouble Rei as much as losing the memories she had captured with the other IVE members. Her previous gallery contained many photos and videos that had never been shown to DIVE.

Looking back on the collection, Rei noticed a different pattern for each member. She often filmed Yujin singing or dancing by herself, photographed Gaeul making her playful "stingray" expression, and captured Liz showing off her front teeth in playful poses. Her gallery also included many adorable photos of Wonyoung asleep and Leeseo wrapped comfortably in blankets.

Remembering those small moments suddenly put Rei into what she called her "I love IVE mode." She ended on a comforting note, saying that even when precious photos disappear, the memories themselves can remain in the heart forever.

Tickets Now on Sale for An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung’s “AN-YOUNG” Exhibition

Ticket and visitor information for An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung's AN-YOUNG media exhibition

Tickets are now on sale for An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung’s joint media exhibition AN-YOUNG, with organisers revealing the full prices, admission benefits, session structure and visitor rules ahead of its September 5 opening.

Reservations opened through Melon Ticket on August 31 at 8:00 p.m. KST — 1:00 p.m. CEST — with separate booking pages available for Korean and international visitors.

Exhibition Schedule and Venue
AN-YOUNG: ANYUJIN × JANGWONYOUNG Media Exhibition will run from September 5 through September 27, 2026 at THE SEOULITEUM’s Exhibition Hall 3 / Atrium in Seoul.

The exhibition will operate every day from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., including public holidays. Admission is organised through reserved one-hour sessions, the expected viewing time is approximately 60 minutes and there is no age restriction.

General Ticket — ₩30,000
The standard admission package includes a physical commemorative ticket, an information leaflet, an admission wristband, two entrance photocards — one featuring Yujin and one featuring Wonyoung — a sticker and an MD order sheet for exhibition merchandise.

The admission materials will be released in two periods. Visitors attending from September 5 to 15 will receive the first ticket and photocard designs, while those visiting from September 16 to 27 will receive a second set. This means fans who attend during different halves of the exhibition will receive different commemorative tickets and entrance photocards.

Special Ticket — ₩66,000
The Special Ticket includes the standard admission package together with a larger collection of exclusive benefits: one random Original Ticket from two available designs, a six-photocard special set featuring three images of each member, a two-piece A3 poster set and one photocard holder.

Five Exhibition Areas
The published floor plan divides the experience into five areas: Reception, Photo Gallery, Media Zone, MD Zone and Hologram Live Photo. The main exhibition is designed as a one-way route and visitors must view it before entering the merchandise area.

Once a visitor enters the MD Zone, returning to the exhibition section is not permitted. Anyone who goes directly to the MD Zone without completing the main route will also be unable to enter the exhibition afterwards. Backtracking through the exhibition is prohibited.

Commercial photography, flash photography and video recording are not allowed. The organisers have not yet explained the full operation or any possible additional cost of the Hologram Live Photo area.

Important Booking Rules
Each account may purchase a maximum of two tickets per session. Entry will be available only through a mobile ticket displayed inside the Melon Ticket app, so visitors should install and prepare the application before arriving.

Sales for each session close one minute before its scheduled start. The overall reservation period ends on September 27 at 6:59 p.m. KST.

Reservations may be cancelled until 11:59 p.m. on the day before the booked visit. Tickets cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded on the day of attendance. On Monday, September 7, the 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. sessions will not operate because of venue conditions.

The exhibition will combine unreleased photographs of Yujin and Wonyoung with media art and interactive content built around the meaning of annyeong — both a greeting and a caring way to ask how someone is doing.

Individual Photobooks: Titles, Price and Purchase Rules
The exhibition will introduce two separate individual photobooks: An Yujin’s Somewhere Nowhere and Jang Wonyoung’s Once Upon a Time. Both members participated directly in planning the photographic concepts for their own books, which are intended to show their growth over the past seven years while revealing new sides of their personality and visual style.

The exhibition will be the first place where the photobooks are sold. Sales will run from September 5 through 27, and each version costs ₩52,000. Visitors purchasing both books will therefore pay ₩104,000 in total.

The books will be available in the MD Zone to visitors attending a reserved exhibition session. General admission includes an MD order sheet, while the Special Ticket includes the same standard admission materials, allowing holders of either ticket type to use the on-site purchase process after completing the exhibition route.

Each visitor may purchase up to two copies of Yujin’s photobook and two copies of Wonyoung’s photobook per session. The purchase limit is based on the number of people who actually attend rather than the number of tickets reserved under one account.

Photobook purchases are cashless. Payment is accepted by credit card or supported mobile services including Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, ZeroPay, Alipay, Naver Pay, Toss Pay and Kakao Pay. Some cards may not be accepted, and the organisers advise visitors to use a card issued in their own name.

Quantities may sell out early. No additional stock will be delivered after the exhibition ends, and exchanges may become difficult if inventory is low.

No. 1 on Melon Ticket’s Real-Time Exhibition Ranking
By the morning of September 2, AN-YOUNG had reached No. 1 in Melon Ticket’s real-time Exhibition / Classical / Others ranking, providing an early indication of strong reservation interest ahead of the opening.

Melon Ticket updates the ranking continuously, so the No. 1 position represents a real-time snapshot of booking activity rather than a published cumulative ticket-sales figure.

The gap between “I AM” and “After LIKE” stood at exactly 32,537,052 views. That gives “I AM” a clear lead at the top of IVE’s catalogue rather than a temporary advantage created by two videos moving at nearly identical totals.

The Road From 100 Million to 400 Million
Released on April 10, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. KST, the music video reached its major milestones on the following dates:

100 million — June 12, 2023
200 million — January 6, 2024
300 million — March 2, 2025
400 million — August 30, 2026

The complete journey took approximately three years, four months and twenty days. When “I AM” crossed 300 million views, it became IVE’s fastest music video to reach that mark, beating the previous record held by “After LIKE.”

Even the final stretch demonstrates considerable long-term strength. The video added the 100 million views between its 300-million and 400-million milestones in about 546 days, equivalent to an average of roughly 183,000 views per day. Across its full lifetime, it has averaged more than 323,000 daily views.

The Rise-and-Fall Imagery Was Part of the Message
The private jet, airplane wing, runway and free-fall sequence were not included only to create a luxurious visual. During the album’s release, Gaeul explained that the video deliberately emphasized contrasting images of ascent and descent.

The concept reflects the song’s message of trusting one’s own path and refusing to be defeated by life’s ups and downs. IVE wanted to show that they were not afraid of moving between rising and falling, while still presenting themselves as the figures who shine at the highest point.

How Wonyoung’s Skydiving Scene Was Created
The music video was produced by HIGHQUALITYFISH and directed by SAMSON, also known as Son Seung-hee. Its production credits reveal how much practical and digital work went into the scene in which Wonyoung appears to fall from an aircraft.

The credited crew includes a dedicated wire team from ONE TAKE, special-effects work by DRAGON, 3D scanning by STUDIO MOA and separate 3D visual-effects artists assigned specifically to the skydiving sequence. The final result therefore combines a physical wire performance with a digitally created aerial environment rather than relying on one simple visual effect.

The official behind-the-scenes material also showed that the airplane was a major practical set. Gaeul introduced her shoot by saying that she would be dancing on the wing, while Wonyoung excitedly described her own scene as skydiving.

Wonyoung Needed Seven Stitches During Filming
Several months after the video was released, director Son Seung-hee revealed that Wonyoung injured her arm while dancing on set and required seven stitches.

Approximately two filming sessions still remained. After receiving emergency treatment, Wonyoung returned and completed the remaining scenes, including choreography that required wide and powerful arm movements. The director recalled that she did not show her pain while the cameras were running and continued monitoring and repeating shots when necessary.

The story is often remembered as an example of Wonyoung’s professionalism, but it also shows how physically demanding the production became behind the polished final images.

The Most-Watched Music Video in South Korea in 2023
The video’s impact was already clear during its release year. YouTube ranked “I AM” as the most-watched music video of 2023 among users in South Korea, based on domestic viewing data collected from January 1 through October 31.

IVE placed two videos in the Top 4 of the same ranking, with “Kitsch” finishing fourth. “I AM” was also supported by the exceptional domestic performance of the song itself, which achieved a Perfect All-Kill on South Korea’s major music charts and collected nine music-show trophies.

Reaching 400 million views more than three years after release confirms that “I AM” was not only a major comeback-era success. It has developed into the defining YouTube achievement of IVE’s career and the first of their music videos to enter an entirely new milestone tier.

IVE’s Rei and Liz Visit Valentino’s “Rockstud Salon” in Ginza

IVE's Rei arrives at Valentino's Rockstud Salon in Ginza during a joint appearance with Liz

IVE’s Rei and Liz visited Maison Valentino’s “Rockstud Salon” at Valentino Ginza in Tokyo on August 29, confirming that their trip to Japan was connected to the luxury house they represent as brand ambassadors.

The appearance completed a story that unfolded throughout the day. Dispatch first reported that the two members had departed from Gimpo International Airport for Tokyo to attend a luxury-brand event, without identifying the brand. Valentino Japan then released official material highlighting the Pre-Fall 2026 looks and Rockstud accessories they wore for the journey, before footage from Ginza revealed their destination.

What Is the Rockstud Salon?
The Rockstud Salon is a temporary pop-in space at Valentino Ginza inside GINZA SIX. Open from July 23 through September 7, it is dedicated to the house’s iconic Rockstud family and the new designs developed under creative director Alessandro Michele.

The installation brings together new pointed-toe Rockstud pumps, colourful strap sandals and selected Valentino Garavani studded accessories from the 2026 Pre-Fall collection. Valentino describes the space as an exclusive shoe salon designed to let visitors experience the evolving identity of one of the house’s best-known codes.

Rei and Liz were later filmed arriving at the Ginza boutique in Valentino looks, turning the visit into their latest joint schedule for the Maison in Japan. Earlier in the day, Valentino Japan had also detailed their departure styling: Rei paired pink Rockstud shoes with a butterfly-embroidered Rockstud Spike bag, while Liz wore white Rockstud shoes with a burnt-orange Rockstud Spike bag.

A Joint Valentino Partnership
Maison Valentino appointed Rei and Liz as brand ambassadors on February 2, 2026. The two members had already appeared together at Valentino shows in Paris, and their Ginza visit continues the fashion house’s decision to present them as a distinctive ambassador duo.

The Rockstud Salon remains open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. through September 7 at Valentino Ginza, 6-10-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

For DIVE, the appearance finally resolves the purpose of their joint flight to Tokyo: the luxury-brand schedule reported at the airport was a visit to Valentino’s Rockstud Salon in Ginza.

Jang Wonyoung Expands EIDER Partnership as Brand Ambassador for China

Jang Wonyoung announced as EIDER brand ambassador for China

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has officially been appointed EIDER’s brand ambassador for China, expanding a partnership with the outdoor fashion brand that began in South Korea four years ago.

EIDER introduced Wonyoung under the Chinese title 中国区品牌代言人, meaning brand ambassador for the China region. The announcement launches a new local campaign built around the slogan “The Reason for Love” and presents her as a figure who can move naturally between the energy of the stage, city fashion and a more relaxed outdoor lifestyle.

The appointment should not be confused with the beginning of a completely new relationship. Wonyoung was first selected as an EIDER model in August 2022 and has continued to appear in the brand’s seasonal campaigns in South Korea. Her new title extends that long-running partnership directly into the Chinese market.

The timing is especially notable because EIDER has recently been building a larger presence in mainland China. The French-founded outdoor brand opened its first Chinese flagship store at Shanghai Global Harbor in late 2025 and has been expanding local awareness through physical retail and Chinese social platforms including Weibo and RedNote.

In the first campaign visual released with the announcement, Wonyoung appears in a white quilted jacket beneath the EIDER logo, combining the brand’s outdoor identity with the polished fashion image that has defined much of her work as a model and ambassador.

The new role gives EIDER an established face for its growing Chinese business while adding another regional ambassador position to Wonyoung’s expanding portfolio of individual brand activities.

Yujin Falls Into the Marvel Rabbit Hole After Watching Spider-Man

IVE's An Yujin shares her first experience exploring the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Spider-Man

An Yujin has begun exploring the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time after seeing so many people talk about Spider-Man.

The enormous scale of the connected franchise had previously discouraged her from starting, as she had never watched any of the Marvel films. After finally choosing Spider-Man: Homecoming, however, Yujin said she found it extremely entertaining.

Her Marvel journey quickly became more complicated. She searched online for missing background about Peter Parker, then tried to continue with Spider-Man: Far From Home, only to encounter unfamiliar terms such as the "Blip." Realising how much wider context she was missing, she also started Iron Man and jokingly asked whether Marvel was always such an endless rabbit hole.

Rather than putting her off, the discovery appears to have made her even more excited. Yujin said it felt thrilling to find an entire fictional world she had never known before and joked that she would like an Iron Man suit of her own.

She has not yet managed to see the newly released Spider-Man: Brand New Day at the cinema, but has heard enthusiastic reactions and hopes to catch it soon. The Odyssey is also on her watchlist, and Yujin promised to share her thoughts after she finally sees the films.

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has returned as the face of ROLAROLA’s new 2026 Fall Collection, starring in the brand’s “OFF HOURS” campaign released on August 28.

The collection is built around private moments of rest away from the rush of everyday life. In the newly released campaign, Wonyoung expresses that relaxed concept through natural poses, deliberately effortless styling and a cool autumn mood.

An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung’s “AN-YOUNG IN SEOUL” Exhibition to Run September 5–27

An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung teaser posters for AN-YOUNG IN SEOUL

An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung’s joint exhibition AN-YOUNG IN SEOUL will run from September 5 through September 27, 2026, at THE SEOULITEUM in Seoul.

On August 25, the official IVE Exhibition account revealed individual black-and-white teaser posters featuring the silhouettes of both members. The images followed an earlier teaser video built around a retro telephone and the two members saying “안녕” (annyeong).

According to Starship Entertainment, the exhibition will transform the different meanings of annyeong into a physical space. The Korean word is used both as a greeting when meeting someone and as a way of asking whether they are doing well. Yujin and Wonyoung are expected to greet visitors in different ways and create new experiences and memories together with them.

The confirmed content includes unreleased photographs capturing different sides of the two members, media art designed to give DIVE a distinctive experience, and interactive programs in which visitors will be able to participate directly.

The title also refers to the pair’s long-standing nickname, Annyeongz. It combines “An” from An Yujin’s surname with “young” from Wonyoung’s name, while sounding like annyeong. Fans have used the nickname since the two promoted together in IZ*ONE, and it remained in use after they debuted together again as members of IVE.

THE SEOULITEUM is located on the G floor (B2) of Galleria Foret The Mall at 32-14 Seoulsup 2-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The venue is approximately 200 metres from Seoul Forest Station Exit 4.

At the time of writing, Starship has announced AN-YOUNG only as an exhibition project. No music release or official unit debut has been revealed in connection with it.

The complete exhibition period, daily opening hours and ticket details were announced several days later. Reservations opened through Melon Ticket on August 31, with general admission priced at ₩30,000 and a Special Ticket package priced at ₩66,000. A separate August 31 guide on this News page covers the admission benefits, booking conditions, exhibition layout and visitor rules in full.

YouTube Changes How Views Are Counted: What It Means for DIVE

YouTube changes how video views are counted from August 24, 2026

YouTube has changed the way public video views are counted, introducing a new standardized system across the platform from August 24, 2026.

Under the new system, a public view can be counted as soon as a video begins playing, starting from the very first frame. The change applies across YouTube's main formats, including regular videos, Shorts and livestreams.

Why Is YouTube Changing the System?
Until now, YouTube used different methods to count views depending on the type of content. Shorts, for example, already counted a view when playback began, while regular videos used a different measurement.

YouTube has now decided to use a more consistent definition across the platform. Public Views are intended to show how many times content actually began playing for viewers, giving creators a broader picture of their video's exposure.

YouTube also expects creators to see their public view counts grow faster under the new system.

What Does the First Frame Rule Actually Mean?
For DIVE, the most noticeable change is that an IVE music video can now register a public view from the moment playback begins.

This can also include videos that begin playing automatically on YouTube's Home page. Simply seeing a thumbnail without the video starting does not count as a view.

However, the new definition does not mean that every repeated playback of the same video will automatically and permanently add another view.

The first frame determines when a playback can meet YouTube's new definition of a view. YouTube still verifies the validity of individual playbacks and can filter repeated, automated or otherwise unusual activity from its final statistics.

YouTube does not publicly reveal the exact limits or rules it uses when evaluating repeated views.

What Are Engaged Views?
Alongside the new public view count, YouTube continues to use another metric called Engaged Views.

The difference is relatively simple. A View shows that a video began playing, while an Engaged View is designed to represent a viewer who showed genuine interest in watching the content.

For example, if a video begins playing automatically and the viewer continues watching beyond the opening moments, it can become an Engaged View. If a viewer actively chooses a video by clicking or tapping its thumbnail and begins watching, YouTube counts that playback as both a View and an Engaged View.

YouTube therefore now separates two different measurements: how often content begins playing in front of viewers and how often viewers actively choose to watch or continue watching it.

Engaged Views remain important for YouTube Analytics and monetization. YouTube has confirmed that the new public view definition does not change YouTube Partner Program earnings or eligibility requirements.

What Does This Mean for IVE?
For DIVE, the new system can be good news.

Because a view can now be registered from the first frame, legitimate video playbacks can be reflected in the public counter more easily than before. The new counting method could therefore have a positive effect on the public numbers of future IVE music videos.

At the same time, the system does not create unlimited views through rapid repeated restarts. YouTube continues to validate individual playbacks, and the exact way repeated views are filtered remains undisclosed.

For future IVE comebacks, the important change is clear: YouTube's public view counter now begins measuring playback from the very first frame, while viewer engagement is tracked separately through Engaged Views.

Yujin Finally Puts IVE's Vancouver Maple Syrup to Use

IVE's Yujin shares her homemade brunch featuring maple syrup from Vancouver

Yujin shared a playful brunch update after finally putting the maple syrup that IVE bought in Vancouver to use.

The members had previously agreed that whenever one of them used the syrup, they would show the others proof. Yujin kept the promise by using the maple syrup in her homemade brunch and making sure the bottle appeared in the photo, joking that she had now expanded her cooking skills beyond her experience on Space Rice Cake Shop, a tvN variety spin-off of Earth Arcade.

She later proudly spread the news that she had made the sandwich herself. Liz jokingly questioned whether that was really true, Gaeul gave her some praise, while Yujin's mother started asking what the dish was called.

Yujin seemed particularly amused by the reactions and joked that DIVE also appeared slightly surprised that her sandwich looked more normal than expected.

Rei Reflects on "REBEL HEART" While IVE Continue a Busy Period of Filming

IVE's Rei reflects on REBEL HEART during a busy period of group filming

Rei shared that IVE have recently been spending a lot of time filming together, while also reflecting on some of the group's previous performances and songs.

Although the members can sometimes feel busy and tired, spending time together makes those moments more enjoyable and helps create happy memories. As one example, Rei mentioned that the group had a chicken party together the previous day.

When looking back at IVE's music, "REBEL HEART" still remains Rei's personal No. 1 when it comes to performing on stage. While she also loves songs such as "BANG BANG" and "XOXZ," the track gives her a special feeling of confidence and hope whenever she performs it.

For Rei, performances that create a strong emotional build-up seem to be particularly meaningful, and she described that uplifting feeling as something that makes her genuinely happy on stage.

Another nostalgic moment came from watching her "ATTITUDE" performance on Music Bank. Seeing her old hairstyle again almost felt like watching another person, although Rei quickly clarified that she was talking about how cute the hairstyle looked.

The update also included another piece of news, with Rei confirming that she has become a global ambassador for Korean beauty brand AGE20'S following the release of her latest campaign photos.

Rei's update offered a small glimpse into IVE's busy August schedule, with the members spending much of their time filming together while still finding moments to relax and enjoy each other's company.

Yujin Reassures DIVE After Knee Injury at Caribbean Bay

An Yujin reassures DIVE after a knee injury at Caribbean Bay

An Yujin has personally reassured DIVE about her condition following Starship Entertainment's earlier announcement that she would avoid choreography during IVE's performance at Caribbean Bay due to discomfort in her knee.

After completing the performance, Yujin explained that she had slightly injured her knee but stressed that her condition is not currently serious. She said that she had been told the injury should improve quickly as long as she gets enough rest.

For Yujin, having to temporarily stop dancing is an unfamiliar experience. She admitted that it was frustrating to stay still, especially because this marked IVE's return to performing in Korea after their North American tour. However, she acknowledged that resting properly now is the best way to recover as quickly as possible.

Despite being unable to take part in the choreography as usual, Yujin kept her characteristic sense of humour, joking that she was still dancing "internally" and promising to show fans just how much she could do while seated, even calling it her "chair dance."

The update provides some welcome reassurance after Starship Entertainment confirmed earlier in the day that Yujin had visited a hospital and would participate in the Caribbean Bay performance without choreography to prevent the affected area from worsening.

Yujin ended her message by saying that she planned to eat well and get plenty of rest. For now, the encouraging news is that the injury does not appear to be serious and that she expects to recover with proper care.

An Yujin to Skip Choreography at Caribbean Bay Due to Knee Discomfort

An Yujin of IVE

Starship Entertainment has announced that An Yujin will participate in IVE's scheduled performance at Caribbean Bay on August 16 without taking part in the choreography after experiencing discomfort in her knee.

Yujin visited a hospital earlier in the day and received medical attention. Following the medical staff's advice, the decision was made for her to avoid choreography in order to prevent the affected area from worsening. She is still expected to appear on stage for the scheduled event.

Starship said it will continue to closely monitor her condition and ensure that her upcoming schedules and activities proceed only within limits that do not place excessive strain on her. The agency emphasized that her health and safety remain its highest priority and asked fans for their understanding and support.

IVE's appearance is part of Caribbean Bay's Water Music Pool Party, held on a special stage beside the outdoor wave pool. The official timetable listed IVE's performance for 12:30 p.m. KST on August 16.

No specific diagnosis or expected recovery period was disclosed in the announcement.

IVE Confirmed for NOL Festival 2026 on October 18

IVE confirmed for NOL Festival 2026 on October 18

IVE have officially joined the lineup for NOL Festival 2026 and will perform on Sunday, October 18 at KINTEX 2nd Exhibition Center in Goyang, South Korea.

The group will appear on the festival's dedicated K-POP STAGE. The latest lineup for October 18 also includes TREASURE, ALLDAY PROJECT, AHOF, NMIXX, KiiiKiii, KickFlip and other artists.

K-POP STAGE With M COUNTDOWN
One of the most interesting details is that NOL's K-pop stage is being produced in collaboration with Mnet's M COUNTDOWN.

The collaboration confirms M COUNTDOWN's involvement in producing the stage, but neither NOL nor Mnet has announced a livestream or television broadcast. Its participation should therefore not yet be treated as confirmation that the performance will be shown live or aired later.

A Huge Multi-Stage Festival
NOL Festival will run across two days, October 17 and 18, with separate K-pop, Super Live and EDM programmes. Organisers have previously estimated that the entire festival could attract around 100,000 visitors across both days.

IVE's K-pop stage will take place inside Hall 7 of KINTEX 2nd Exhibition Center. The hall covers approximately 11,290 square metres and will be divided into several audience zones for the event.

K-POP Stage Admission — Updated October 1, 2026
NOL distributed free K-pop stage tickets through four ₩0 reservation rounds: super early bird, early bird, general booking and a final additional round held from September 16 at 14:00 to September 20 at 23:59 KST. Domestic reservations are now closed.

The K-pop stage is divided into zones A–F. Each person could reserve up to two tickets, and partial cancellation of a two-ticket reservation is not permitted. A valid K-pop stage ticket is required for entry.

Global Shuttle Package
International visitors have another possible route. NOL World currently displays a global package covering October 17–18, with either a K-pop A or B standing ticket plus shuttle service for ₩150,000. The public product page shows a Buy now button and no sold-out label.

The page does not reveal whether the October 18 option still has inventory before entering the booking flow, so DIVE should confirm the event date and availability before paying. Paid domestic tickets for the Super Live Stage and EDM Stage do not include access to IVE's K-pop stage.

IVE Return to KINTEX After 2025
The venue will already be familiar territory for IVE. In July 2025, the group performed at SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, another NOL-branded event held at KINTEX.

During that event, IVE performed "REBEL HEART" and "ATTITUDE," while Yujin also served as one of the main MCs.

This year's NOL Festival is a different project, however. Rather than being built around SBS Gayo Daejeon, it operates as its own large-scale multi-genre festival, with the K-pop stage now connected to M COUNTDOWN.

The official ticket page lists the Day 2 K-pop programme from 16:00 KST with an estimated runtime of 300 minutes. IVE's individual stage time remains unannounced, and no official livestream has been confirmed.

GAEUL Talks About “Odd,” Personal Growth and Her Love for DIVE in KNIGHT Interview

GAEUL for KNIGHT magazine

GAEUL opened up about her solo music, her growth since debut, a competitive side she never knew she had, and what DIVE means to her in an interview with Chinese magazine KNIGHT.

Q: Your solo track “Odd” did very well. When you first decided to prepare a solo, did you have any hesitation? What made you hesitate or worry?

GAEUL: Because this was my first time releasing a solo single, I spent a lot of time thinking about what kind of concept I should choose and how I could interpret the song with a feeling that was uniquely my own.

Q: Did this solo stage make you feel that you had grown in ways you had never experienced before?

GAEUL: Since this time it wasn’t a stage performed by all six of us together, but one where I had to stand on stage alone, I practiced a lot. I also put many of my own ideas and creative touches into it. In the process of completing this song that belongs to me little by little, I felt that I grew a lot and learned a lot as well.

Q: During the recording and dance practice, did you encounter any difficult parts that took a lot of practice or adjustment before you were satisfied?

GAEUL: Personally, while preparing “BANG BANG,” the rap part stood out to me especially during recording, so I really wanted to express that section well. I practiced the flow and groove of that part many times, and I was able to do it well in the final recording.

Q: Your recent variety show “Death Game” aired, and your performance received a lot of praise. Do you think you’re naturally the type of person with strong logical thinking?

GAEUL: Ah, how should I put it? Personality-wise, I’m quite T, and I’ve always enjoyed watching survival-type variety shows. So when I was put into that kind of one-on-one situation, it felt like my own “survival instinct” came out without me even realizing it.

Q: On the show, you always appeared very calm. Were there actually any moments when you felt nervous inside?

GAEUL: There were many moments like that. I think I’m pretty good at showing a calm side in every moment, but inside I wasn’t really that calm. When the other person was the first to see through what I was thinking or what my strategy was, I would become uneasy too.

Q: Do you think of yourself as a competitive person? Did this variety show bring out your competitive side?

GAEUL: Actually, I’m someone who has almost no desire to win. Even when I play games with the members, I’m usually the type to think, “You can play however you want.” I really hardly have any competitive spirit. But through this variety show, I discovered for the first time another side of myself that even I didn’t know about, so I was very surprised.

Q: Compared with when you first debuted, what do you think has changed the most about you now, and what has stayed the same?

GAEUL: As for the biggest change... I think I’ve discovered more of my own charm.

Before debut, I was actually like a piece of jade that still didn’t know when it would shine. I didn’t know when that moment would come either.

Thanks to all the love and care DIVE have shown me in so many ways over the years, I was able to become the shining GAEUL of IVE that I am today.

If there is something that hasn’t changed, it would probably be my passion for this work. Even now, I still love this work just as much as ever.

And DIVE, who make it possible for me to keep doing this work and who continue to give me support and love, really feel like a part of my life. My love for DIVE has remained unchanged.

Q: You really like mystery and horror films. Could you recommend something you’ve come across recently that you especially liked?

GAEUL: Recently, I read a book called “Child Hoarder.” Rather than a horror novel or a mystery novel, I’d say it’s more suitable for teenage readers and has just a slight horror atmosphere, so I wanted to recommend it to everyone.

Editor’s note: “Child Hoarder” (차일드 호더) is the Korean title of Freida McFadden’s novel “The Intruder.”

Q: If you had the chance to cook for DIVE, what would you make?

GAEUL: Hmm, something I’m good at making... If I’m going to cook for DIVE, I’d want everyone to eat until they’re nice and full, so I’d make my specialty, doenjang-jjigae.

Q: What would you like to say to the Chinese fans who have always supported you?

GAEUL: Our DIVE in China have always put in so much effort too, and I know that you often keep up with my videos and photos. I’m happy that through KNIGHT I was able to get one step closer to everyone. I hope I’ll be able to meet you all again before too long.

Yujin Looks Back on IVE's North American Tour and Reveals Her Unusual Pre-Encore Meal

IVE's Yujin reflects on the North American tour after returning to Korea

Yujin checked in with DIVE after returning to Korea and reflected on IVE's latest North American tour, saying that the experience felt noticeably smoother than their first visit.

She explained that returning to several familiar cities and venues brought back memories from the previous tour. Yujin also enjoyed practicing English phrases she had learned during the trip and quietly feeling proud whenever she managed to use them successfully.

One of her funniest memories came from IVE's final concert in Vancouver. After eating only a light breakfast, Yujin became too busy preparing for the show and missed lunch. By the time the group performed "I AM," she was so hungry that she struggled to properly engage her core and could hear her stomach growling.

Knowing that the encore was still ahead, she asked the manager to prepare something to eat backstage. Yujin expected something simple such as a banana, but instead received Buldak noodles.

The unexpected meal turned out to suit her perfectly, and Yujin joked that it gave her enough energy to enthusiastically perform "Kitsch" during the encore.

She ended her update by saying that although the tour had been long, she was happy to have completed it in good health and returned safely to Korea.

IVE's LUCID DREAM Earns Platinum Certification in Japan

IVE LUCID DREAM receives RIAJ Platinum certification in Japan

IVE's latest Japanese EP LUCID DREAM has officially received Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

The certification was announced as part of the RIAJ's July 2026 Gold Disc certifications and confirms that LUCID DREAM has reached at least 250,000 cumulative net shipments in Japan.

What Does Platinum Mean in Japan?
RIAJ awards physical music certifications according to cumulative net shipments. The current certification levels are:

Gold — 100,000 copies
Platinum — 250,000 copies
Double Platinum — 500,000 copies
Triple Platinum — 750,000 copies
Million — 1,000,000 copies

Net shipments represent copies supplied to the market after returned stock is deducted.

Why Can RIAJ and Oricon Show Different Numbers?
RIAJ certification should not be directly compared with Oricon sales figures because the two systems measure different things.

Oricon tracks retail sales recorded through participating stores and platforms, while RIAJ certification is based on cumulative net shipments from record companies and distributors.

This means an album can receive a 250,000-copy RIAJ Platinum certification even before the same number appears in Oricon's retail sales data.

Another Major Japanese Milestone for LUCID DREAM
Released on May 27, 2026, LUCID DREAM debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart.

It became IVE's third album to top the weekly Oricon ranking and recorded approximately 120,000 copies in its first week, the highest first-week album sales of 2026 by an overseas female artist at the time.

The EP also reached No. 1 on Oricon's Combined Weekly Album Chart.

LUCID DREAM includes the original Japanese songs "LUCID DREAM," "Fashion" and "JIGSAW," alongside Japanese versions of "REBEL HEART," "ATTITUDE" and "Thank U."

With its new Platinum certification, the EP adds another official industry milestone to what has already become one of IVE's strongest Japanese releases.

Rei Recovers Enough to Sing Again Ahead of Vancouver Concert

IVE's Rei shares a positive health update ahead of the Vancouver concert

Rei shared encouraging news with DIVE ahead of IVE's final North American concert in Vancouver, revealing that her condition had improved significantly after her recent throat illness.

After completing rehearsal, Rei said that she had recovered enough to sing again and thanked fans for patiently waiting for her. The update marks a significant improvement after she was unable to complete the final two encore songs and closing greetings during IVE's Oakland concert, while at the following show in Seattle she performed her vocal parts entirely with playback as her throat continued to recover.

Rei also reflected on one of her musical inspirations. She recalled watching Red Velvet perform from the side of the stage shortly after IVE's debut and described the moment as a memory that made everything around her seem to move in slow motion.

That experience continues to inspire her today. Rei said that she hopes to someday become the kind of artist who can give someone else a similarly unforgettable and sparkling memory.

IVE Receive Fresh U.S. Media Spotlight During North American Tour

IVE during the SHOW WHAT I AM North American tour

IVE are receiving fresh attention from U.S. music and entertainment media as their SHOW WHAT I AM world tour continues across North America.

In the span of just over a week, the group has been featured by NYLON, The Hollywood Reporter and RIFF Magazine, with each outlet offering a different look at IVE during their current era.

NYLON published an exclusive behind-the-scenes photo diary from IVE's July 29 concert at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The feature includes official Starship Entertainment photographs of all six members on stage, backstage moments and a group selfie, giving fans a closer look at the tour beyond the performances themselves.

The Hollywood Reporter also turned its attention to IVE with a new feature published during the U.S. leg of the tour. Nearly five years into their career, the magazine looked at the group as they continue expanding internationally while touring with SHOW WHAT I AM and promoting music from their second studio album, REVIVE+.

RIFF Magazine approached the group through a Q&A focused on the REVIVE+ era, IVE's growing confidence, their connection with fans around the world and what audiences can expect from the current world tour.

The three features arriving within such a short period give IVE additional exposure in the U.S. beyond their concerts themselves. With the North American leg reaching its final stages, the tour is not only bringing the group back in front of DIVE across Canada and the United States, but also putting them in front of a wider American music and entertainment audience.

Rei Shares Health Update After Missing Final Encore in Oakland

IVE's Rei shares a health update after the Oakland concert

Rei has shared an update on her condition after struggling with a severe throat problem during IVE's recent concert in Oakland.

She explained that she had been determined to perform because Oakland DIVE had waited two years to see the group. However, her condition worsened during the show and she was ultimately unable to join the final two encore songs or the closing greetings.

Rei credited the other IVE members for helping her throughout the concert and said their support made it possible for her to perform as much as she did.

After travelling to Seattle, Rei visited a doctor and received prescription medication. She revealed that the illness had made both sleeping and the flight particularly difficult, but after spending much of the past two days resting, she now feels significantly better.

Rei plans to continue eating well, taking her medication and carefully managing her condition ahead of IVE's next concert. She also reassured DIVE that she had specifically reached out because she did not want fans to worry.

Liz Experiences Harry Potter in Shared Reality in Los Angeles

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Shared Reality attended by IVE's Liz

Liz enjoyed a magical late-night outing in Los Angeles by attending a special Shared Reality presentation of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

The experience takes place at Cosm Los Angeles in Inglewood, where the full-length film is presented on a massive 87-foot diameter 12K+ LED dome. Immersive environments expand beyond the traditional movie frame and surround the audience with visuals and cinematic sound inspired by the Wizarding World.

The presentation was created by Cosm in collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures, Little Cinema and MakeMake to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film.

Shortly before the screening began, Liz shared her excitement with fans and said that her heart was beating quickly. She then playfully wondered whether DIVE felt the same way whenever they saw her.

After the film ended, Liz said that she had thoroughly enjoyed the experience and decided that she was probably a Gryffindor.

She also temporarily changed her Bubble profile picture to Dobby so that she could hold on to the magical atmosphere a little longer. Liz acknowledged that Dobby does not appear in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, but asked fans to accept the unusual profile picture for one day before she replaced it with another photo of herself.

Rei Reassures Fans After Performing While Unwell in Los Angeles

IVE's Rei shares an update after the Los Angeles concert

Rei reassured DIVE after revealing that she had performed at IVE's Los Angeles concert while dealing with a severe cold that affected her throat and voice.

She had hoped that her condition would not be noticeable during the performance, but apologised to fans and explained that her voice currently sounded completely different from usual.

Rei shared that she had been eating properly, taking medicine and getting plenty of sleep. Although her throat had not yet recovered, she said that she was feeling fine emotionally and planned to focus on recovering before IVE's next concert.

Despite feeling unwell, Rei was still able to enjoy some of her time in Los Angeles by visiting Disneyland and seeing the ocean. She also highlighted the Y2K-inspired outfit she wore for the group's concert.

Rei later shared that a DIVE vlog had appeared on her TikTok feed and touched her deeply. She especially enjoyed seeing fans displaying her posters in their rooms and jokingly promised to return with even better photos for them to hang up.

Yujin Officially Wins OST Popularity Award at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards

An Yujin celebrates winning the OST Popularity Award at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards

IVE's An Yujin has officially won the OST Popularity Award at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards for "Sad Saltiness", her contribution to the soundtrack of the TVING original series The Legend of Kitchen Soldier.

The final result was announced during the ceremony held at Paradise City in Incheon on July 31. It completes the story that began when Yujin finished first in the fan-voting portion of the award.

Yujin was unable to attend the ceremony in person and delivered her acceptance remarks through a prerecorded video message. She thanked the viewers, everyone who supported the OST and her fans for making the award possible.

"It was an honor to be part of such a great project," Yujin said. She added that she would continue working hard to show new sides of herself through a variety of future activities.

The victory makes Yujin the first female recipient in the history of the OST Popularity Award. The category was introduced at the second Blue Dragon Series Awards in 2023, with all three previous winners being male artists.

It is also Yujin's second Blue Dragon Series Awards trophy. She previously received the U+ Why Not Award in 2024 for her performance in the mystery variety programme Crime Scene Returns. While that honour recognised her work in entertainment, her latest trophy is directly connected to her work as a solo vocalist.

The ceremony was also highly successful for The Legend of Kitchen Soldier. The series won Best Drama, while Yoon Kyung-ho received Best Supporting Actor. Together with Yujin's OST award, the production ended the evening with three trophies.

For Yujin, the award marks another important milestone in her growing solo soundtrack career and officially confirms the strong support that "Sad Saltiness" received from both fans and the awards panel.

Jang Wonyoung Becomes Highest-Ranked Female Advertising Model in June K-Brand Index

Jang Wonyoung ranks seventh in the June 2026 K-Brand Index

IVE's Jang Wonyoung ranked seventh overall in the advertising model category of the K-Brand Index for June 2026, making her the highest-ranked female celebrity on the list.

The ranking was released by the Asia Brand Research Institute on July 31 and was based on online data collected between June 1 and June 30, 2026.

Wonyoung received a final score of 136 points, placing behind Son Heung-min, Lim Young-woong, G-Dragon, Park Ji-hoon, Byeon Woo-seok and Yoo Jae-suk. She finished ahead of aespa's Karina, BLACKPINK's Jennie and BTS's Jungkook, who completed the Top 10.

The institute analyzed more than 835 million pieces of online data connected to 30 personalities with the highest search volumes on major Korean platforms. The evaluation included trend, media, positive and negative sentiment, social media, community activity and artificial intelligence-related indicators.

The ranking reflects the online influence, public interest and brand reputation surrounding advertising models. It does not directly represent the number or value of their advertising contracts.

Wonyoung had previously ranked eighth in the institute's first-half 2026 advertising model index. Her rise to seventh place in the June ranking further highlights her continued popularity and strong influence as one of South Korea's most prominent advertising models.

Starship Revenue Rose 26% in 2025 as the Company Invested in Major Expansion

Starship Entertainment's revenue increased in 2025 while profit declined during a year of major expansion

Starship Entertainment increased its standalone revenue by 26.3% in 2025, while operating profit fell by more than half during a year marked by two group debuts and a major property acquisition.

The company recorded revenue of KRW 173.2 billion, up from KRW 137.1 billion in 2024. However, operating profit declined by approximately 52.8%, falling from KRW 22.6 billion to KRW 10.6 billion.

As a result, Starship's operating margin dropped from approximately 16.5% in 2024 to 6.1% in 2025.

Net profit also decreased by approximately 35.2%, from KRW 17.5 billion to KRW 11.3 billion.

Costs Grew Faster Than Revenue
The decline in profitability occurred because Starship's costs and operating expenses increased considerably faster than its revenue.

Based on the difference between revenue and operating profit, the amount absorbed by costs and operating expenses rose from approximately KRW 114.5 billion in 2024 to KRW 162.5 billion in 2025 — an increase of about 41.9%.

Starship has not publicly released a detailed breakdown explaining which individual expenses were responsible for the increase. However, 2025 was a significant expansion year for the company.

Two New Groups Debuted in 2025
KiiiKiii officially debuted with their first EP UNCUT GEM on March 24, while IDID made their official debut with I did it. on September 15 after being formed through Starship's survival project Debut's Plan.

Launching two new groups within the same year likely required substantial spending on training, music production, music videos, staff, styling, content creation and promotional activities.

These expenses may have contributed to the increase in Starship's operating costs, although the available financial information does not reveal exactly how much was spent on each group.

Starship Approved a KRW 59 Billion Property Acquisition
Starship also approved the acquisition of a property in Seoul's Cheongdam-dong district for KRW 59 billion in July 2025, with the transaction scheduled to be completed on September 2.

The property is located near Starship's existing headquarters and consists of two floors above ground and one basement level. It occupies 663.4 square metres of land and has a total floor area of approximately 987.1 square metres.

Because the building is smaller than Starship's current leased headquarters, Korean business media suggested that it was more likely intended to serve as a second company facility rather than an immediate replacement for the existing office.

The purchase price was equivalent to approximately 37.6% of Starship's standalone assets at the end of 2024 and more than 80% of the company's cash and cash equivalents at the time, making it a major long-term financial commitment.

The Building Purchase Did Not Directly Cause the Profit Decline
Although the acquisition formed an important part of Starship's expansion, the full KRW 59 billion purchase price should not be treated as an ordinary operating expense.

A purchased property is generally recorded as an asset rather than being deducted from profit immediately. Financing costs and future depreciation can affect earnings over time, but the building's full price does not directly explain the sharp decline in Starship's 2025 operating profit.

Lower Profit Does Not Necessarily Mean Financial Trouble
A decline in profit is not automatically a sign that a company is performing poorly, particularly when revenue continues to grow and money is being invested into future expansion.

In Starship's case, revenue increased by 26.3% during the year, while the company launched two new groups and committed significant resources to additional facilities and long-term business development.

Investments of this kind can reduce short-term profitability because the associated expenses often arise before the new artists, facilities and projects begin generating their full potential returns.

The important question is therefore not only how much profit Starship generated in 2025, but whether its increased spending will support stronger and more sustainable growth in the years ahead.

Without a detailed breakdown of the company's expenses, it is not possible to determine exactly how much of the profit decline was connected to each investment. However, the available figures suggest a year of rapid growth and reinvestment rather than an immediate sign of financial distress.

Liz Shares a Series of Funny Updates From Austin

IVE's Liz shares a series of funny updates from Austin

Liz checked in with DIVE from Austin, Texas, where she shared several amusing stories about the heat, her daily routine and a funny discovery from IVE's recent visit to New York.

She explained that her jet lag was finally beginning to improve after approximately one week in North America. Since she rarely leaves the hotel during her free time, Liz joked that her daily routine has mostly consisted of eating, sleeping and playing games.

Liz also described the intense Texas heat, saying that both the actual and apparent temperatures were close to 40°C. When a fan asked whether she usually sweats a lot, she jokingly declared herself "No. 1 at sweating." However, she added that she also gets cold very easily and called it the worst possible combination.

She then shared an amusing conversation with her manager after noticing that wedding-related videos kept appearing in her feed. Liz wondered whether weddings had suddenly become popular, but her manager suggested that it was simply because she was getting older and more people around her were beginning to marry.

Liz immediately protested that 23 was still far too young and firmly declared, "I'm still young!"

She also spoke about enjoying the atmosphere at sporting events, including the baseball game IVE attended in New York. Although she does not consider herself an expert, Liz said that she likes the excitement of passionate crowds and also follows football.

Before leaving Bubble, Liz revealed one final funny discovery. While watching a video from New York, she realised that she had accidentally worn her dress backwards. That explained why the front appeared unusually long while the back was shorter, a mistake that she could only laugh about afterwards.

The company recorded KRW 173.2 billion in standalone revenue during the year, also making it the second-largest entertainment company affiliated with Kakao behind SM Entertainment.

This result came during another strong year for IVE, whose sustained domestic popularity and expanding global activities likely played an important role in Starship's performance.

IVE Win Best Song Award at the 2026 K-World Dream Awards

IVE win the Best Song Award at the 2026 K-World Dream Awards

IVE have been announced as winners of the K-World Dream Best Song Award at the upcoming 2026 K-World Dream Awards.

The organizing committee revealed the recipients on July 28, approximately one month before the ceremony. IVE were selected alongside AKMU, I.O.I, aespa, Hwasa and YENA after the six artists achieved outstanding results on major domestic and international music charts.

"BANG BANG" Earns IVE Another Major Honor
IVE were recognized for the remarkable digital success of "BANG BANG." The track became the first song released in 2026 to achieve a perfect all-kill on South Korea's major music charts, further demonstrating the group's continued popularity with the Korean public.

A perfect all-kill is achieved when a song simultaneously reaches No. 1 across the country's leading real-time, daily and weekly music rankings.

Months after its release, "BANG BANG" has continued to perform strongly on Korean music charts, making it one of the most successful K-pop songs of the year so far.

Six Artists Receive the Award
Despite its English name, the Best Song Award should not be confused with a single-winner Song of the Year prize or a Daesang. The award is being presented to six different artists this year rather than recognizing one song as the sole overall winner.

The organizing committee explained that the ceremony aims to celebrate everyone who has contributed to the growth of K-pop. Instead of focusing only on selecting one act as the absolute best, the awards will recognize artists, producers, staff members and other figures who have helped the industry develop.

The 2026 K-World Dream Awards will take place on August 27 at KINTEX in Goyang, South Korea. The ceremony will also mark the event's tenth anniversary.

IVE have not yet been confirmed as part of the performer lineup, so it remains unclear whether the members will attend the ceremony and accept the award in person.

IVE Become 4th Best-Selling Korean Girl Group in Japan With Only Five Releases

IVE become the fourth best-selling Korean girl group in Japan with five physical releases

IVE have reached 935,487 physical sales across their five Japanese releases, placing them fourth among the best-selling Korean girl groups in Japan in an updated aggregation of Oricon data.

The achievement is particularly impressive because IVE reached the position with only five Japanese physical releases since making their official Japanese debut in October 2022.

The updated ranking currently places the leading Korean girl groups as follows:

1. TWICE — 4,401,438 copies from 21 releases
2. KARA — 3,170,551 copies from 37 releases
3. Girls' Generation — 2,607,522 copies from 18 releases
4. IVE — 935,487 copies from 5 releases

The ranking includes only physical Japanese singles and albums. Korean imports, DVDs, Blu-rays, digital downloads and streaming figures are not included.

IVE's Five Japanese Physical Releases
IVE's current Japanese physical discography consists of one single and four EPs:

1. ELEVEN -Japanese ver.- — 129,488 copies
Released October 19, 2022

2. WAVE — 152,748 copies
Released May 31, 2023

3. ALIVE — 232,823 copies
Released August 28, 2024

4. Be Alright — 232,164 copies
Released July 30, 2025

5. LUCID DREAM — at least 188,264 copies
Released May 27, 2026

Together, the five releases have accumulated 935,487 physical copies in Japan.

The phrase “at least” remains appropriate for LUCID DREAM because the EP continues to appear on Oricon's daily and weekly charts and may add further copies in future updates.

Strong Results Across the Entire Discography
Every one of IVE's five Japanese physical releases has surpassed 100,000 copies.

Their two highest-selling projects, ALIVE and Be Alright, have both exceeded 232,000 copies, while LUCID DREAM is already approaching 190,000.

Across all five releases, IVE currently average approximately 187,097 copies per project.

This figure should not be directly compared with artists whose Japanese catalogues contain very different mixtures of singles, EPs and full-length albums. However, within IVE's own discography, it demonstrates a remarkably consistent level of demand from Japanese DIVE.

LUCID DREAM Continues IVE's Strong Growth in Japan
IVE's latest Japanese EP, LUCID DREAM, debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart after its release on May 27.

It became IVE's third album to top the weekly Oricon ranking and recorded the highest first-week album sales of 2026 by an overseas female artist at the time of its release.

The EP has now reached at least 188,264 physical copies and continues to add further sales through Oricon's daily and weekly charts.

LUCID DREAM currently accounts for approximately 20.1 percent of IVE's entire Japanese physical sales total.

Only 64,513 Copies Away From One Million
IVE now need another 64,513 Japanese physical copies to reach one million cumulative sales across their Japanese releases.

The remaining gap does not need to be filled by LUCID DREAM alone. Continued catalogue sales and a future Japanese single or EP will also contribute to the total.

Considering that every Japanese physical release by IVE has surpassed 100,000 copies, the one-million milestone now appears to be only a matter of time.

DIVE Insight: A Small but Consistent Catalogue
Cumulative sales rankings naturally favour artists with long careers and large discographies, as every additional project creates another opportunity to increase the total.

IVE's position is therefore notable not simply because they have five releases, but because none of those releases has performed weakly.

Their debut Japanese single surpassed 129,000 copies, every subsequent EP has exceeded 150,000, and their two strongest projects have both passed 232,000.

With 935,487 copies, three weekly No. 1 albums and consistent six-figure sales across their entire Japanese catalogue, IVE have built one of the strongest Japanese sales records among Korean girl groups of their generation.

BANG BANG Surpasses 70 Million Spotify Streams and Outpaces XOXZ by 42%

IVE BANG BANG surpasses 70 million streams on Spotify

IVE's "BANG BANG" has officially surpassed 70 million streams on Spotify, reaching a total of 70,142,184 plays in the latest daily update.

The milestone provides another clear indication that the song has developed into one of IVE's strongest long-term streaming performers. It continues to gain more than 200,000 streams per day and remains significantly ahead of "XOXZ" when both songs are compared at the same point after their respective releases.

Latest Spotify Numbers
According to the latest update recorded by our Spotify Streams Tracker, "BANG BANG" currently has:

Total streams: 70,142,184
Latest daily increase: 216,818 streams

The latest daily result also represents an increase of 5,836 streams compared with the previous update, showing that the song is not simply maintaining its pace but was able to record another small daily rise.

"BANG BANG" currently ranks as the 11th most-streamed IVE song on Spotify.

It has now moved ahead of "Either Way," which currently has 70,047,901 streams. The difference between the two songs stands at only 94,283 streams, but the latest update was enough for "BANG BANG" to take the higher position.

A Title Track Released Before the Album
Although "BANG BANG" was released before the full album, it should not be described as merely a promotional pre-release song.

It is one of the two main title tracks from IVE's second full-length album, REVIVE+, alongside "BLACKHOLE." "BANG BANG" was revealed first to introduce the new era, while "BLACKHOLE" arrived with the complete album.

IVE previously used a similar release strategy with "Kitsch." The song was unveiled before the release of I've IVE, but still served as one of the album's main title tracks together with "I AM."

The decision to release "BANG BANG" in advance therefore gave the song an earlier start, but it did not make it less important within the album's official title-track lineup.

BANG BANG vs. XOXZ at the Same Point After Release
The clearest demonstration of "BANG BANG's" performance comes from comparing it with "XOXZ," the main title track from IVE's previous Korean album, IVE SECRET.

At the same point after release, the two songs had recorded:

BANG BANG — 70,142,184 streams
XOXZ — 49,387,967 streams

That places "BANG BANG" ahead by:

20,754,217 streams

In percentage terms, "BANG BANG" had approximately 42.0 percent more Spotify streams than "XOXZ" at the equivalent stage of its release cycle.

This comparison is more useful than looking only at the current totals because it gives both songs the same amount of time to accumulate streams.

It therefore shows that "BANG BANG" did not reach 70 million simply because it had been available for a long period. It was growing substantially faster than the previous album's main title track from the beginning.

BANG BANG Has Already Overtaken XOXZ's Current Total
"XOXZ" currently stands at 66,950,467 Spotify streams.

This means that "BANG BANG" has already moved 3,191,717 streams ahead of the present lifetime total of "XOXZ," despite belonging to the newer album era.

The comparison demonstrates the difference between the two songs particularly clearly:

BANG BANG — 70,142,184
XOXZ — 66,950,467

"XOXZ" remains one of the central songs of the IVE SECRET era, but "BANG BANG" has established a considerably stronger Spotify trajectory.

Still Above 200,000 Daily Streams
Crossing a major milestone can sometimes be the result of a song slowly accumulating streams over several years. That is not the case with "BANG BANG."

The song continues to average more than 200,000 daily Spotify streams, with the latest update adding 216,818.

This sustained daily pace is particularly important because it shows that interest has remained strong well beyond the initial comeback promotion period.

Spotify performance can be influenced by several factors, including playlist placement, concert exposure, social media trends and the release of new IVE content. However, maintaining this level for an extended period suggests that "BANG BANG" has developed strong repeat-listening value among both DIVE and casual listeners.

It is also currently IVE's highest-performing song in the daily ranking:

1. BANG BANG — 216,818 daily streams
2. I AM — 163,316
3. After LIKE — 130,782
4. LOVE DIVE — 107,369
5. REBEL HEART — 93,987

Holding first place above established catalogue hits such as "I AM," "After LIKE" and "LOVE DIVE" further demonstrates the strength of the song's current momentum.

The Road to 100 Million Streams
After reaching 70,142,184 streams, "BANG BANG" needs another:

29,857,816 streams

to become the next IVE song to enter Spotify's 100-million club.

If the song maintained an average of exactly 200,000 streams per day, it would require approximately 149 additional days to reach the milestone.

At the latest daily pace of 216,818 streams, it would require approximately 138 days.

Those simple projections would place the milestone somewhere around December 2026.

This should not be treated as a firm prediction. Daily streams naturally rise and fall, and future releases or changes in playlist exposure could either accelerate or delay the result. The calculation is only intended to illustrate what the song's current pace could mean if it remained relatively stable.

DIVE Insight: Why the XOXZ Comparison Matters
Milestones such as 70 million streams are impressive on their own, but they become much more informative when placed in context.

Comparing songs solely by their current lifetime totals naturally favours older releases. A track that has been available for several years has had far more time to collect streams than one released only a few months ago.

Our 100 Days Stream Trend and release-age data allow songs to be compared at equivalent stages instead.

When "BANG BANG" and "XOXZ" are given the same amount of time, the difference is more than 20.7 million streams. That makes it clear that "BANG BANG" has not merely passed another numerical milestone—it has followed a fundamentally stronger growth curve.

The song's performance also supports the decision to introduce the REVIVE+ era through a title track released before the full album. Like "Kitsch" before it, "BANG BANG" was able to establish its own identity and momentum before listeners received the complete album.

With more than 70 million total streams, a daily average still above 200,000 and a substantial advantage over "XOXZ" at the same stage, "BANG BANG" is now firmly on course to become one of the biggest Spotify successes of IVE's career.

IVE Surpass 1.07 Million Circle Album Units in the First Half of 2026

IVE REVIVE+ and the best-selling female groups on Circle Chart in the first half of 2026

IVE recorded more than 1.07 million album units on Circle Chart during the first half of 2026, placing them among the three highest-selling female groups of the year so far.

According to an aggregation of Circle Chart data published by KOREAN SALES, IVE accumulated 1,074,993 album units between January and June 2026.

That placed the group third among female acts, only 1,325 copies behind aespa, who finished the tracking period with 1,076,318 units.

The Top 10 Female Groups
The full ranking shared by KOREAN SALES was:

1. BLACKPINK — 2,094,928 copies
2. aespa — 1,076,318 copies
3. IVE — 1,074,993 copies
4. BABYMONSTER — 927,893 copies
5. LE SSERAFIM — 743,195 copies
6. ILLIT — 719,434 copies
7. Hearts2Hearts — 657,919 copies
8. tripleS — 555,362 copies
9. NMIXX — 384,383 copies
10. ITZY — 358,359 copies

BLACKPINK held a substantial lead at the top of the ranking, while the battle for second place was extraordinarily close.

IVE achieved approximately 99.88 percent of aespa's total. The difference of 1,325 copies represents only around 0.12 percent of aespa's result.

At the same time, IVE finished 147,100 copies ahead of BABYMONSTER in fourth place.

An Important Note About the Ranking
This is not a separate official artist ranking published directly by Circle Chart.

Circle Chart normally ranks individual albums and their different physical or platform versions. KOREAN SALES created the female-group ranking by combining all Circle-recorded units credited to each group during the January-to-June tracking period.

The underlying album figures come from Circle Chart, but the additional ranking by artist is an independent aggregation.

This distinction is important because IVE's total of 1,074,993 does not represent only one version of one album. It combines all eligible IVE releases that recorded units during the first half of the year.

What Does Circle Chart Actually Count?
Circle's Album Chart is different from a simple count of albums scanned at store checkouts.

The chart measures the wholesale quantity of albums shipped by distributors, with returned stock deducted from the total. Its eligible formats include traditional CDs and LPs as well as USB, KiT and approved platform albums.

Platform versions such as Nemo, Weverse, POCA, PLVE and other QR- or NFC-based formats can therefore appear separately from a standard album version when the physical medium is different.

This is also why Circle numbers should not be treated as identical to Hanteo figures. Hanteo primarily records sales reported by affiliated retailers, while Circle follows distribution-level shipments after accounting for returns.

Circle's official first-half tracking period ran from January 1 at noon KST until July 1 at 11:59 a.m. KST.

REVIVE+ Was the Main Driving Force
The overwhelming majority of IVE's 2026 total came from their second full-length album, REVIVE+, released on February 23.

On Circle's official midyear Album Chart, the standard version of REVIVE+ ranked No. 15 among all albums released or charting during the first half of 2026, with 886,006 recorded copies.

The album's Nemo version was counted separately and debuted with another 176,019 units during its release week.

Other IVE albums also continued to record additional units during the year. This means that the group's older catalogue still contributed to the final 1,074,993 total rather than disappearing completely after the release of REVIVE+.

That continued catalogue activity is significant because it shows demand extending beyond the newest comeback. Albums such as IVE EMPATHY, IVE SECRET, I've IVE, LOVE DIVE and ELEVEN can continue adding smaller numbers long after their original release periods.

An Official Triple-Platinum Album
REVIVE+ also received an official triple-platinum certification from Circle Chart after the certified standard version surpassed 750,000 copies.

Under Circle's certification system, one platinum certification represents 250,000 copies. Double platinum is awarded at 500,000, while triple platinum requires at least 750,000.

The certification applies to an individual album format rather than automatically combining every platform or physical version under the same title.

A Strong Result Beyond Physical Albums
IVE's first-half performance was not limited to physical album distribution.

The pre-release single "BANG BANG" ranked No. 7 on Circle's official midyear Digital Chart with a total score of 226,708,529 Circle points.

The Digital Chart combines activity from areas including domestic streaming, downloads, background music and V Coloring, with weighting based on the type of music service.

This gave IVE a strong presence in both of the industry's major areas: physical album demand and Korean digital consumption.

While some artists perform particularly strongly in album sales or domestic streaming, IVE once again demonstrated their ability to compete near the top of both categories during the same comeback era.

How Does 2026 Compare With 2025?
IVE also surpassed one million Circle album units during the first half of 2025.

In the equivalent KOREAN SALES aggregation for January through June 2025, IVE ranked first among female groups with 1,538,753 copies.

Their third mini album IVE EMPATHY was itself ranked No. 3 among all albums on Circle's official 2025 midyear Album Chart, recording 1,425,992 copies for its standard version.

The comparison therefore gives IVE two consecutive first-half periods with more than one million Circle-recorded album units:

2025 — 1,538,753 copies and No. 1 among female groups
2026 — 1,074,993 copies and No. 3 among female groups

Although their position changed due to major releases from BLACKPINK and aespa, IVE remained above the million-unit mark and finished almost level with second place.

DIVE Insight: Why the 1,325-Copy Difference Matters
A gap of 1,325 copies is extremely small within a ranking in which both groups surpassed 1.07 million units.

In proportional terms, IVE finished only approximately 0.12 percent behind aespa. The two groups were therefore much closer to each other than the simple labels of second and third place might suggest.

The result should still be understood as a fixed snapshot of the first-half tracking period. New albums, continued catalogue sales and possible returns will determine a separate full-year ranking at the end of 2026.

IVE's third-place finish nevertheless confirms that their physical buying power remains among the strongest of any active female group. Combined with "BANG BANG's" top-10 digital result, the first half of 2026 once again showed the balance between IVE's fandom-driven album demand and their broader popularity with the Korean public.

Yujin Tops Blue Dragon Series Awards OST Fan Vote With 1.4 Million Votes

An Yujin and the Blue Dragon Series Awards OST Popularity Award voting results

An Yujin has finished first in the fan-voting portion of the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards' OST Popularity Award. Her song "Sad Saltiness", recorded for the TVING original series The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, remained at the top when the final round closed on July 23 at 11:59 p.m. KST.

The result places Yujin in a strong position ahead of the final journalists' evaluation. However, it is important to distinguish between winning the fan vote and officially winning the award: the trophy has not yet been confirmed.

Final Fan Voting Results
According to the CelebChamp results screen released after voting closed, the leading three songs finished with the following figures:

1. "Sad Saltiness" — An Yujin of IVE
1,414,441 votes
Combined fan score: 55.2

2. "Close to Me" — Anton of RIIZE
1,131,693 votes
Combined fan score: 44.1

3. "Daydream" — Wendy of Red Velvet
11,889 votes
Combined fan score: 0.4

Anton's "Close to Me" was released for Yumi's Cells Season 3, while Wendy's "Daydream" appeared in Can This Love Be Translated?.

Yujin finished 282,748 votes ahead of Anton. That means "Sad Saltiness" received approximately 25 percent more votes than its closest competitor in the displayed results. Her combined fan score was also 11.1 points higher, at 55.2 compared with Anton's 44.1.

How Is the Final Winner Decided?
The OST Popularity Award uses a more complicated system than a single public vote.

The preliminary round took place from June 17 to June 30. From the original field of nominees, the twenty highest-ranked songs advanced to the final round, which ran exclusively through the CelebChamp app from July 2 to July 23.

The fan score is calculated in two stages:

• 40 percent of the preliminary-round vote
• 60 percent of the final-round vote

Those two rounds produce the combined fan score shown in the final results. That fan score then represents 80 percent of the overall award result, while the remaining 20 percent comes from a Sports Chosun journalists' panel.

This is why Yujin cannot yet be described as the official award winner. She has secured first place in the portion controlled by fans, but the journalists' votes must still be added before the trophy is decided.

DIVE Insight: How Strong Is Yujin's Lead?
If the displayed scores of 55.2 and 44.1 are applied directly to the published 80-percent fan weighting, Yujin would carry 44.16 points into the final calculation, while Anton would carry 35.28 points.

That would give Yujin an advantage of 8.88 overall points before the journalists' 20-percent contribution is added.

The organisers have not publicly explained the full mathematical conversion used for individual journalists' ballots, so these figures should be understood as a transparent illustration rather than an official final score. Nevertheless, Yujin's first-place finish gives her a meaningful advantage entering the final stage.

About "Sad Saltiness"
"Sad Saltiness," known in Korean as 슬픈 짠맛, was officially released on June 2, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. KST as Part 3 of the soundtrack for The Legend of Kitchen Soldier.

Rather than following the soft-ballad style commonly associated with television soundtracks, the song combines synth-pop with a powerful rock sound. Strong synthesizers and an energetic instrumental are paired with Yujin's clear, refreshing and increasingly powerful vocal colour.

The title refers to the salty taste of tears running down someone's face during an exhausting and painful period of life. However, the song is not centred only on sadness. Its central message is about refusing to collapse, finding the determination to stand up again and continuing forward despite fear, doubt and difficult circumstances.

This contrast gives the title additional meaning. The "sad saltiness" represents pain that can be physically felt, while the song's hopeful melody transforms that pain into renewed strength.

The production described the track as a source of comfort and energy not only for the characters in the drama, but also for young people attempting to build their own path through an uncertain reality.

Yujin's voice is particularly well suited to that concept. Her naturally bright tone preserves the song's sense of hope, while her stronger vocal delivery allows the chorus to communicate determination rather than helplessness.

About The Legend of Kitchen Soldier
The Legend of Kitchen Soldier is a military cooking fantasy following private Kang Seong-jae, who exchanges a rifle for a kitchen knife and an ammunition belt for an apron as he gradually develops into a legendary military cook.

The series combines military life, comedy, cooking and personal growth. "Sad Saltiness" reflects the determination of characters who continue developing their skills and identities despite the pressure and limitations of their environment.

The drama itself is also entering the Blue Dragon Series Awards with an exceptionally strong presence. It received five nominations across four main categories:

• Best Drama
• Best Actor — Park Ji-hoon
• Best Supporting Actor — Yoon Kyung-ho
• Best Supporting Actor — Lee Sang-yi
• Best New Actor — Lee Hong-nae

Yujin's OST therefore represents a series that is already one of the major contenders at this year's ceremony.

The Fourth Chapter of Yujin's Solo Soundtrack Journey
"Sad Saltiness" is Yujin's fourth solo soundtrack project and her second song created specifically for a television drama.

Her solo soundtrack journey began in December 2023, when she was selected as the Korean special collaboration artist for Disney's 100th-anniversary animated film Wish. She recorded the Korean version of its main theme, "This Wish", delivering the story's message of dreams, courage and hope.

In November 2024, she released "Dreaming" for the Kakao webtoon The Great. The emotional pop ballad showed a softer and more delicate side of her voice.

Her first television drama OST arrived in April 2025 with "Sunny Day" for Resident Playbook. Its bright rhythm and warm spring atmosphere matched the uncertain but exciting daily lives of first-year medical residents.

"Sad Saltiness" now expands that solo catalogue in a different direction. Its rock-influenced production requires greater vocal force and allows Yujin to demonstrate how much range she can bring to a soundtrack outside IVE's group releases.

Her solo soundtrack discography currently consists of:

2023 — "This Wish"
Disney's Wish special Korean collaboration

2024 — "Dreaming"
The Great webtoon soundtrack

2025 — "Sunny Day"
Resident Playbook OST Part 2

2026 — "Sad Saltiness"
The Legend of Kitchen Soldier OST Part 3

A Short History of the OST Popularity Award
The Blue Dragon Series Awards were launched in 2022 as South Korea's first major awards ceremony devoted specifically to series produced for streaming platforms.

The OST Popularity Award was introduced at the second ceremony in 2023. Three artists have received the trophy so far:

2023 — Jaechan of DKZ
"Our Season" from Our Season: Spring with Park Jaechan

2024 — Zhang Hao of ZEROBASEONE
"I Wanna Know" from EXchange 3

2025 — Yeonjun of TOMORROW X TOGETHER
"Boyfriend" from Cinderella at 2 AM

All three previous recipients have been male artists. If Yujin receives the final trophy, she will become the first female winner in the history of the OST Popularity Award.

Yujin Already Has Blue Dragon History
A victory would not be Yujin's first recognition from the Blue Dragon Series Awards.

At the third ceremony in 2024, she received the U+ Why Not Award for her performance in the mystery variety programme Crime Scene Returns. That award recognised an artist or production that created change in streaming entertainment through an unusual idea, challenge or approach.

Yujin was unable to attend that ceremony because she was completing IVE's first world tour, but she thanked the programme's staff, her fellow cast members and DIVE for supporting her.

If "Sad Saltiness" wins this year, it would become Yujin's second Blue Dragon Series Awards trophy and her first award from the ceremony connected directly to her work as a solo vocalist.

When Will the Official Winner Be Announced?
The 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards will take place on July 31, 2026 at 8:30 p.m. KST — 1:30 p.m. CEST — at Chroma inside Paradise City in Incheon.

The ceremony will be broadcast live in South Korea through KBS 2TV. The final OST Popularity Award result is expected after the journalists' evaluation is combined with the completed fan score.

Whatever the final decision, finishing first among twenty finalists with more than 1.4 million displayed votes already demonstrates the strength of Yujin's individual support and the enthusiasm surrounding her growing solo vocal career.

For now, DIVE must wait for the final announcement — but "Sad Saltiness" will enter the ceremony from the strongest possible position provided by the fans.

Wonyoung Shares Her Impressive Jet Lag Ability in Montreal

IVE's Wonyoung shares an update from Montreal

Wonyoung recently checked in with DIVE from Montreal, where she revealed that she had already adjusted perfectly to the local time despite IVE's busy concert and travel schedule.

She explained that one of her special abilities is becoming sleepy whenever it is nighttime in the country she is visiting. While the other members reportedly struggled with jet lag after arriving in Canada, Wonyoung slept deeply and woke up shortly before the group's scheduled pickup.

Her sleep was apparently so peaceful that she did not even notice a loud thunderstorm during the night. Wonyoung playfully expressed pride in her ability and assured fans that she would continue doing her best throughout IVE's remaining schedule.

Liz Shares a Cheerful Update From Toronto

IVE's Liz shares an update after arriving in Toronto

Liz recently checked in with fans after arriving in Toronto, sharing that she was enjoying the pleasant weather and planned to spend much of her free time relaxing during the trip.

To keep herself entertained, she brought along her laptop, tablet and several games, while also planning to occasionally head out for food or a walk.

Liz also mentioned watching several episodes of Agent Kim Reactivated during the flight after the onboard Wi-Fi stopped working.

She then shared a behind-the-scenes detail about her upcoming appearance on Mnet Plus’s FANS’ CHOICE FACE. Shortly before filming, treatment for a painful mouth sore caused her tongue to swell, which temporarily affected her pronunciation. She playfully asked fans to overlook it and find it cute instead.

IVE to Perform at INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO on September 23

IVE announced for INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO 2026 at Belluna Dome

IVE will take part in another major live event in Japan this September. The group has been confirmed for the second day of INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO, which will take place at Belluna Dome in Saitama on September 23, 2026.

Doors are scheduled to open at 4:00 p.m. JST, with the show beginning at 6:00 p.m. JST. The full event will run for two days, from September 22 to September 23.

What Is INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO?
INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO is a large-scale concert event built around the identity of SBS's long-running Korean music programme Inkigayo.

First launched in 1991, Inkigayo has become one of South Korea's best-known weekly music shows. Popular artists perform their latest songs on the programme, while one act is selected as the weekly No. 1 winner.

The Japanese live event brings together performers from both the Korean and Japanese music industries. Its official website promises special stages that can only be experienced in Japan, although the exact collaborations and performances have not yet been revealed.

The official September 23 lineup graphic places IVE alongside major Japanese artists including Ado and BE:FIRST. Across the two-day event, the wider announced lineup also includes TOMORROW X TOGETHER, RIIZE, &TEAM, NiziU, INI, KickFlip, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii and several other acts.

IVE's Special Connection to Inkigayo
The Inkigayo name has a particularly meaningful connection to IVE because two members of the group previously served as regular MCs of the programme.

An Yujin hosted Inkigayo from March 2021 to March 2022, before IVE's debut and during the early months of the group's career. Several years later, Leeseo became a regular MC in April 2024 and remained in the role until December 2025, completing approximately one year and seven months as a host.

IVE have also built an impressive competitive history on the programme. Songs including "ELEVEN," "LOVE DIVE," "I AM," "Baddie" and "REBEL HEART" achieved Inkigayo Triple Crowns after winning first place three times.

Their appearance at INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO can therefore feel like a return to a familiar stage rather than simply another festival performance.

Tokyo in Name, but Saitama in Reality
Despite the event's title, Belluna Dome is not located within Tokyo. The venue stands in Tokorozawa, a city in neighbouring Saitama Prefecture.

Belluna Dome is the home stadium of the professional baseball team Saitama Seibu Lions. Its officially listed capacity is 31,552 spectators, although the final number available for concerts can change depending on the stage and floor layout.

The stadium has hosted baseball games, concerts and other major events for decades. Its ceiling rises approximately 64.6 metres above the playing surface, while its enormous main screen, known as L Vision, measures 46.08 metres wide and 13.06 metres high. The screen covers more than 600 square metres.

A Dome That Is Not Completely Indoors
Belluna Dome has one of the most unusual designs among major Japanese venues. A roof covers the field and seating areas, but the stadium is not completely sealed by exterior walls behind the stands.

Natural air can therefore flow into the venue, creating an atmosphere somewhere between an outdoor stadium and a fully enclosed arena. Fans attending the event should keep this distinctive design in mind when preparing for the late-September show.

How Far Is Belluna Dome from Tokyo?
According to the venue's official access guide, the journey takes approximately 35 minutes from Ikebukuro Station using the Seibu Ikebukuro Line.

Travelling from Tokyo Station takes approximately 52 minutes via Ikebukuro, while the journey from Shibuya takes around 56 minutes. The venue recommends using public transportation during large concerts and sporting events.

IVE Will Perform During Japan's Rare Silver Week
September 23 is not an ordinary Wednesday in Japan. The date is Autumnal Equinox Day, an official national holiday traditionally connected with honouring ancestors and remembering those who have passed away.

September 22 is also a public holiday in 2026 because it falls between Respect for the Aged Day on September 21 and Autumnal Equinox Day on September 23. Under Japanese law, a weekday positioned between two national holidays also becomes a day off.

Together with the preceding weekend, this creates a rare five-day holiday period from September 19 to September 23. This unusual autumn break is commonly known as Silver Week.

IVE's performance will therefore take place on the final day of one of Japan's longest holiday periods of the year. The timing may make it easier for domestic fans to travel, but it could also increase demand for transportation and accommodation around the Tokyo and Saitama area.

Ticket Information
A reserved single-day ticket is priced at 18,000 yen, while a reserved two-day ticket covering both September 22 and September 23 costs 33,000 yen.

VIP upgrades are also planned. The single-day VIP upgrade costs an additional 12,000 yen, while the two-day VIP upgrade costs an additional 24,000 yen. The announced VIP benefit is access to a seat in the front section of the arena.

Fans purchasing a two-day ticket will receive a different seat for each day. A standard reserved ticket must also be purchased before a VIP upgrade can be added.

The first official lottery application period for two-day tickets ran from June 26 to July 12. Additional ticket and VIP upgrade information is expected to be announced through the event's official website.

DIVE Insight: What Could the Japan-Only Special Stage Be?
The organisers have specifically advertised special stages that can only be experienced in Japan. With major Korean and Japanese artists sharing the same event, that wording naturally raises the possibility of cross-artist collaborations, rearranged performances or Japanese-language stages.

IVE also have an extensive Japanese catalogue that could fit such an occasion. One event-exclusive stage has now been confirmed: Rei will perform a one-night collaboration with Japanese singer-songwriter Lilas Ikuta on September 22. Their song choice has not yet been announced, while IVE’s September 23 setlist and any additional special stages remain unconfirmed.

Since this article was first published, organisers have also confirmed Leeseo as an MC for both days and an exclusive SkyPerfecTV! livestream beginning at 6:00 p.m. JST on September 22 and 23. SkyPerfecTV! provides the streaming service only within Japan for viewers with an eligible subscription.

With more than 30,000 possible spectators, a rare Japanese holiday date and the promise of exclusive stages, INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO is shaping up to be another important appearance for IVE and Japanese DIVE in 2026.

Wonyoung to Throw Ceremonial First Pitch at Mets vs. Dodgers Game

Jang Wonyoung and Citi Field in New York

Jang Wonyoung is preparing for a special appearance on one of New York's biggest sporting stages. According to a report by Korean media outlet Edaily, citing the MLB office, IVE have been invited to attend the New York Mets' home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Citi Field on July 26.

Wonyoung is scheduled to represent IVE by throwing the ceremonial first pitch before the game. The other five members — An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Liz and Leeseo — are also expected to attend and watch the game together from the stadium.

Due to the time difference, the event will take place on July 26 in New York, while it will already be July 27 in South Korea.

A Packed New York Weekend for IVE
The baseball appearance will take place just one day after IVE's concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on July 25. The performance is part of the North American leg of the group's second world tour, SHOW WHAT I AM.

Newark is located within the greater New York metropolitan area, making the following day's visit to Citi Field a natural addition to IVE's busy weekend in the region.

Mets vs. Dodgers Is No Ordinary Matchup
The July 26 game will conclude a three-game series between the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Citi Field, scheduled from July 24 to July 26.

The two teams also share recent postseason history. The Dodgers defeated the Mets in six games during the 2024 National League Championship Series, advancing to the World Series after winning the final game of the series 10–5.

The Dodgers will arrive in New York as back-to-back World Series champions after winning the championship in both 2024 and 2025. They became the first MLB team to successfully defend the title since the New York Yankees won three consecutive championships from 1998 to 2000.

What Makes Citi Field Special?
Citi Field has served as the home stadium of the New York Mets since it opened in 2009. Located in Flushing, Queens, the stadium has a baseball capacity of approximately 41,800 spectators.

One of Citi Field's most recognizable attractions is the enormous Home Run Apple in center field. The apple rises whenever a Mets player hits a home run. The current version stands approximately 16.5 feet tall and measures 18 feet in diameter.

The stadium's main entrance is the Jackie Robinson Rotunda, inspired by Ebbets Field, the former home of the Brooklyn Dodgers. It honors Jackie Robinson, who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier while playing for the Dodgers in 1947.

This creates an interesting connection to Wonyoung's appearance: she will enter a Mets stadium through a space dedicated to one of the greatest figures in Dodgers history before throwing the first pitch at a Mets–Dodgers game.

Citi Field's Place in K-pop History
Although Citi Field is primarily a baseball stadium, it has also become an important venue in the history of K-pop in the United States.

On October 6, 2018, BTS performed at Citi Field and became the first Korean artists to headline a stadium concert in the United States. The event represented a major milestone in K-pop's expansion into the American live music market.

Citi Field continued strengthening its connection with Korean music in 2025, when the stadium hosted concerts by artists including Stray Kids, ATEEZ and BLACKPINK.

There is even a fun date coincidence: BLACKPINK performed the first of their two Citi Field concerts on July 26, 2025 — exactly one year before Wonyoung's scheduled ceremonial pitch on July 26, 2026.

Special Baseball Content Is Also Coming
Edaily also reported that IVE filmed special content with former professional pitchers Kim Byung-hyun and Dustin Nippert.

Kim Byung-hyun is one of the most historically significant Korean players to compete in Major League Baseball. He became the first Korean player to win the World Series when the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the New York Yankees in 2001. He was also selected for the MLB All-Star Game in 2002.

Dustin Nippert previously played for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers before moving to South Korea, where he became one of the most successful foreign pitchers in KBO League history.

Nippert finished his KBO career with 102 victories, becoming the first foreign pitcher to reach the 100-win milestone. He was named the league's Most Valuable Player in 2016 and remains especially popular among Korean baseball fans.

Liz to Sing "Tunnel" for Spooky in Love OST

IVE Liz for the Spooky in Love OST Tunnel

IVE's Liz has been announced as the first OST artist for tvN's upcoming weekend drama Spooky in Love. Her new song, titled "Tunnel," will be released as the drama's OST Part 1 on July 19 at 6:00 p.m. KST — 11:00 a.m. CEST. The release will arrive just one day after the drama's television premiere.

About "Tunnel"
CJ ENM describes "Tunnel" as an emotional ballad portraying the anxiety and loneliness felt inside seemingly endless darkness, as well as the determination to keep moving toward a faint light ahead. The song delicately expresses overwhelming reality, deep sadness and the small but persistent hope that cannot easily be abandoned. These emotions are expected to reflect the wounds and isolation experienced by the drama's characters.

Liz's signature vocal colour appears particularly well suited to that concept. Her voice can sound clear and delicate while still carrying considerable depth, allowing her to communicate sadness without losing the warmth and hope at the centre of the song. According to the announcement, her emotional delivery is expected to strengthen both the mysterious and romantic atmosphere of the series.

Another Step in Liz's Growing OST Journey
"Tunnel" will become Liz's fourth solo OST for a live-action drama. Her OST journey began with "Summer" for Love Your Enemy in December 2024, followed by "Heavy Love" for Heavenly Ever After in May 2025 and "First Snow, That Day" for Sold Out on You in April 2026.

This also means that Liz has now recorded drama OSTs in three consecutive years. In addition, "Tunnel" will be her second drama OST of 2026 and the second consecutive soundtrack project in which she has been selected to sing Part 1. Being placed at the very beginning of an OST lineup gives her voice an important role in establishing the drama's initial musical identity.

About Spooky in Love
The supernatural romantic comedy stars Park Eun-bin as Cheon Yeo-ri, a wealthy hotel heiress who can see ghosts, and Yang Se-jong as Ma Gang-uk, a talented prosecutor who happens to be terrified of them. After discovering that a single touch makes them an unexpectedly effective team, the pair begin working together to uncover clues connected to unsolved murders. Ong Seong-wu also stars as hotel executive Kang Min-hwan.

The series is a new 12-episode interpretation of the popular 2011 Korean film Spellbound. Rather than simply recreating the original movie, the drama expands its supernatural romance into a larger story involving investigations, unresolved deaths and newly created characters. Park Eun-bin has also explained that, aside from Yeo-ri's name and her ability to see ghosts, many elements of the television character and story have been newly developed.

Spooky in Love premieres on July 18 at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN and will also be available through Netflix.

DIVE Insight: What Could the Title "Tunnel" Represent?
The title naturally invites a deeper interpretation. A tunnel is a place surrounded by darkness, but it is also a passage leading somewhere rather than a permanent destination. That image closely matches the official description of the song, in which loneliness and pain exist alongside a faint light that encourages someone to continue moving forward.

It may also reflect the emotional situation of the drama's central characters. Yeo-ri is isolated from other people because of what she can see and avoids physical contact, while Gang-uk must confront both unsolved crimes and the supernatural world he fears most. Their partnership could therefore represent two wounded and lonely people helping each other find a way out of their own darkness.

This connection has not been confirmed as an official explanation of the song's title, but it makes "Tunnel" an especially meaningful choice for the drama and makes Liz's warm, emotionally layered voice an intriguing way to introduce its soundtrack.

"Off The Record" Surpasses 100 Million Streams on Spotify

IVE Off The Record Spotify 100M

Another huge milestone for IVE is here! The track Off The Record has officially crossed the magical mark of 100 million streams on Spotify today. It proudly takes its place as the group's ninth song to achieve this fantastic number. To celebrate this milestone with all of you, we've put together the ultimate list of interesting facts and hidden details behind this fan-favorite track and its music video!

One of the Three Faces of I'VE MINE: The track dropped on October 6, 2023, as a pre-release single for the group's very first EP, I'VE MINE. Alongside "Either Way" and "Baddie," IVE showcased three completely different styles and concepts during this era.

A Midnight Secret: Lyricist Seo Ji-eum gave the song its unique atmosphere. The lyrics tell a story about girls who, deep in the night when everyone else is asleep, whisper about love and explore their own curiosity.

Star-Studded Producer Lineup: The music was crafted by legendary K-pop hitmaker Ryan S. Jhun, together with a team of Scandinavian writers and producers, including Hilda Stenmalm and Sivert Hagtvet Hjeltnes.

Groovy Sound: For the music geeks, the song is built on a catchy rhythm with a very prominent and groovy bassline. It plays at a tempo of 108 beats per minute (BPM) and is composed in the key of B-flat major.

The Meaning of the Apple Tree: The music video is full of beautiful symbolism. In the beginning, Leeseo is seen planting a magical bean that later grows into a full apple tree. Throughout the video, apples are used to represent desire, the gaining of knowledge, and the girls learning to trust each other with their deepest secrets.

Portraying the Chaos of Love: The video visually represents the different emotional stages of falling in love. For example, Wonyoung's scenes, where she is seen hiding and acting shy, specifically embody the uncertainty, chaos, and fear that come with overwhelming new feelings.

A Perfect Autumn Wardrobe: To perfectly capture the mood of the fall season when the track was released, the styling team curated a very specific aesthetic. The music video's wardrobe is famously packed with vibrant red shades, muted pinks, off-white themes, and cozy knits.

A Favorite in the Military: During an episode of the music show Inkigayo, BTS member j-hope revealed that he frequently listened to "Off The Record" while serving in the military.

Leeseo's Ultimate Pick: The group's youngest member, Leeseo, has consistently stated for a long time that "Off The Record" is her absolute favorite track.

Voted as the "Most Underrated" Song: Despite its massive streaming success, hardcore fans still consider this track a hidden gem. In a massive community poll held on Reddit, DIVEs officially crowned "Off The Record" as IVE's most underrated song.

DIVEs, let's celebrate this amazing achievement and keep streaming!

Rei's Bubble Update

IVE Kyocera Dome

In her latest Bubble update, Rei sweetly asked DIVEs for some comforting head pats after wrapping up a busy shoot. She teased that the new items they filmed are incredibly pretty, but apologized for her lack of photo updates recently due to IVE's hectic, back-to-back daily schedules. Rei then shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes story about a recent TikTok she filmed with Gaeul. After roping her in to do a trend, Rei shared that she thought the video only required a really light tap. However, they ended up filming it three times, and Gaeul patiently took the hits without complaining every single time, leaving Rei feeling extremely sorry. This led Rei to declare her the kindest person she has ever met in her entire life. This is a fact even Rei's grandparents agree with. Affectionately calling her "Aki-chan" (Autumn in Japanese), Rei named Gaeul her ultimate role model. Wrapping up her visit to her "resting space," Rei left fans with a fun little quiz, asking them to guess the meaning behind the Korean acronym "ㄱㄴㄴㅇ" (G-N-N-O), which is exactly what Yujin tells her every single night before bed.

IVE's An Yujin Reportedly Wins Subscription for Luxury Apartment in Seoul

IVE Kyocera Dome

According to Korean media reports on July 10, IVE's An Yujin has successfully won a housing subscription (cheongyak) for a unit in the highly anticipated luxury apartment complex "The H Bangbae," located in the affluent Bangbae-dong area of Seoul.

Real estate sources estimate that if Yujin secured an 84㎡ unit, the market asking price is currently around 4 billion KRW (approx. 2.9 million USD). Due to a price cap applied to the pre-sale, economic outlets predict an immediate market profit of nearly 1.8 billion KRW.

When asked about the reports, Starship Entertainment maintained a cautious stance, stating, "As this is the artist's personal matter, it is difficult for us to confirm. We ask for your understanding."

IVE TMElive International Music Awards

Starship Entertainment has officially announced that IVE will be taking the stage at the 2026 TMElive International Music Awards (TIMA) on August 23. However, the group will be performing as a five-piece. Due to an unavoidable prior personal schedule conflict, Gaeul will unfortunately not be able to attend the event. The remaining members (An Yujin, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) will represent the group and are sure to deliver a breathtaking performance.

The "Pearl of the Orient": Kai Tak Stadium
The 2026 TIMA will be held at the spectacular Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. If conquering the Tokyo Dome was a massive milestone for IVE, performing at this venue is equally impressive. Opened just last year in March 2025, the stadium was built on the reclaimed land of the world-famous former Kai Tak Airport.

The 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium is currently the largest and most iconic venue in Hong Kong. It was designed with a "Pearl of the Orient" theme. The building features a stunning facade made of approximately 27,000 color-changing aluminum panels that shimmer across the city skyline. Fans attending the awards won't have to worry about the unpredictable summer weather, as the venue boasts a state-of-the-art retractable roof. To make the experience even more comfortable, the stadium features air conditioning installed under every single seat. The southern glazed facade of the stadium also offers a jaw-dropping "window" view overlooking Victoria Harbour.

Ticket Information
For fans planning to attend, mark your calendars! The pre-sale officially starts on July 13 at 10:00, followed by the general public on-sale on July 15 at 13:00.

Taking the stage at this mega-stadium is yet another proof of IVE's undeniable global status. We can't wait to see the girls shine at the TIMA awards, and we send all our love to Gaeul!

IVE Once Again Conquered Tokyo Dome

Tokyo Dome

IVE has officially wrapped up their monumental Japanese leg of the SHOW WHAT I AM world tour, and the numbers are nothing short of breathtaking. Performing to a completely sold-out crowd at the iconic Tokyo Dome, the girls captivated approximately 48,000 fans in a single night. When combined with their previous stops in Osaka, this recent Japanese tour drew an incredible total of 127,000 DIVEs.

Japanese music journalists and portals have been full of praise. Reports highlighted the group's overwhelming stage presence and the massive scale of their production. Reviewers specifically pointed out how IVE confidently commanded the massive venue, impressing the crowd with their flawless live vocals, sharp choreography, and the deep emotional connection they shared with the fans during their ending speeches.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed something unusual when the group returned to South Korea. Press videos showed only four members (Wonyoung, Liz, Gaeul, and Leeseo) arriving safely at the airport. Naturally, DIVEs immediately wondered: Where were Yujin and Rei?

Fortunately, the mystery was quickly solved by none other than Rei herself through a sweet update on her Bubble account.

After months of rigorous preparation and the immense pressure of conquering Tokyo Dome, the girls had some well-deserved time off. Rei revealed that she and Yujin stayed behind in Japan to enjoy Osaka alongside their manager.

"I came back after having a fun day in Osaka with Kong-unni and our manager," Rei shared with fans. "We had fun playing around even while getting hit by the rain. We made some amazing memories."

Rei also promised that she hasn't forgotten about the incredible Tokyo Dome experience. "There's so much I want to say, including my thoughts on Tokyo Dome, so I'll do a live stream tomorrow... or maybe Sunday??" she added, mentioning that she is now resting safely at home.

The Big Day Is Here: IVE Takes the Stage at the Iconic Tokyo Dome.

Tokyo Dome

Today, June 24th, our girls are taking the stage at the legendary Tokyo Dome. This marks IVE's third time overall performing at this massive venue, with the first two taking place during their previous Show What I Have tour. This proves once again their undeniable status as global superstars.

Performing at the Tokyo Dome is the ultimate milestone for any artist. But what exactly makes this stadium so special? Let's take a closer look at the venue where IVE is performing today.

The "Holy Grail" of Japanese Venues
In the music industry, the Tokyo Dome is the absolute dream. Much like Madison Square Garden in the US or Wembley Stadium in the UK, reaching the Tokyo Dome is the pinnacle of success in Japan. It is historically the first and most iconic indoor dome in the country.

"The Big Egg" and Its Unique Air Roof
Opened in 1988, the stadium is famously nicknamed "The Big Egg" because of its distinctive white, dome-shaped roof. But here is the most fascinating part: the roof isn't supported by any pillars. It is a flexible fiberglass membrane held up entirely by air pressure. Inside the stadium, massive fans keep the air pressure 0.3% higher than outside to keep the massive roof inflated.

A fun fact for DIVEs attending: When leaving the venue through the special revolving doors after the show, you will actually feel a strong gust of wind as the pressurized air from inside escapes.

Massive Capacity & A Cultural "Measuring Tape"
The Tokyo Dome can hold up to 55,000 fans for concerts. It is so famous and perfectly proportioned that it has actually become an unofficial unit of measurement in Japan. When Japanese news programs want to describe how large a new park or shopping center is, they don't use square meters—they say that it is as big as three Tokyo Domes.

More Than Just a Stadium
The venue sits right in the middle of Tokyo Dome City, a massive entertainment complex. It features its own shopping center, hot springs, and even a massive rollercoaster called the Thunder Dolphin that literally passes right through the middle of a Ferris wheel and a nearby building. It is the perfect place for fans to gather and celebrate before the girls hit the stage.

From their very first release to standing on this prestigious stage once again, IVE continues to prove their incredible influence in the music industry. Their journey shows how deeply their music resonates with fans across the globe. Today's performance at the Tokyo Dome is set to be another unforgettable chapter in their remarkable career.

She also mentioned that she is making an effort to spend as much time as possible with her groupmates on this trip. IVE's An Yujin to Release Solo OST "Sad Salty Taste" for tvN Drama "The Legend of Kitchen Soldier"

IVE Kyocera Dome

IVE's An Yujin is set to release a new solo original soundtrack (OST) titled "Sad Salty Taste." The track will serve as part of the official soundtrack for the ongoing tvN and TVING drama series, The Legend of Kitchen Soldier. The song is officially scheduled for release on June 2 at 06:00 PM KST.

The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, starring actor and singer Park Ji-hoon as the main lead Kang Seong-jae, is a military comedy-fantasy adapted from a popular web novel. The narrative follows a young man who enlists in the army to escape his harsh reality following his father's death. Upon arriving at the base, a mysterious, game-like virtual quest window suddenly appears before him.
